Special Containment Procedures: SCP-???? is to be kept in a steel containment chamber, and placed in the exact middle of a brown wooden table. The steel chamber must include thick padding on the walls, to prevent SCP-????'s anomalous effects. Personnel of Level 4 or higher are granted access to the containment chamber. Personnel recontaining SCP-???? are not to travel more than 1ft every second, doing so will result in hallucinations and paranormal activity in persons within a 100 foot radius.
Description: SCP-???? is a hourglass, standing 9.5 inches tall and has a 6-inch base. around the glass, it consists of golden swirly bars that protect the hourglass from breaking.
Any and all humans who come into contact with, physically touch, remain around, or until all sand grains reach the bottom of SCP-????, will begin experiencing hallucinations, and paranormal activity. Shortly after, persons will begin to feel the urge to break the hourglass. Upon that effect, the human is now designated 'SCP-????-A'.
If the attempt to break SCP-???? by SCP-????-A is successful, two events have a possibility of occurring.
Event #1: The sands of time will stop immediately after the breakage of SCP-????, freezing the universe entirely. Any attempts to revert this have not been made, as it is not possible.
Event #2: SCP-????-A will have full control over the sands of time upon breakage of SCP-????. Any events upon their request will be made.
