Item #: SCP-5077
Object Class: Euclid/Truculent
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5077 is to be guarded by 2 armed security officers at all times. If a material change is detected inside of SCP-5077-A, SCP-5077-A's outer-layer must be changed to an alternate material such as silver, copper, aluminum, etc. depending on what material SCP-5077 morphs into. If SCP-5077 attempts to erode SCP-5077-A's outer-casing, SCS personnel must create a synthetic earthquake inside of SCP-5077-A. In the instance of SCP-5077 has a full containment breach a site lockdown must occur, SSO must find and capture SCP-5077 using a bismuth cube as SCP-5077 can’t erode bismuth for a short period unless given the time.
Description: SCP-5077 was found on ███████, ██████ Beach after multiple civilians were found deceased, the cause of death was radiation poisoning. A radiation scan was conducted and, SCP-5077 was found upon some ruble of an old building on the beachside. Immediately after discovery SCP-5077 created instances of SCP-5077-1 and the foundation was called. SCP-5077 is a microscopic morphing cell approximately 1 micrometer in size and can morph into any type of matter depending on SCP-5077's environment. SCP-5077 can cause extreme [DATA EXPUNGED] if aggravated as it seems to have sentience. If SCS staff do not change the outer-casing of SCP-5077-A: SCP-5077 will attempt to escape by slowly eroding the outer-casing of its containment cell. SCP-5077 has been monitored going to the surrounding SCPs and trying to erode the door of their containment cells using multiple SCP-5077-1.
Addendum: SCP-5077 has breached 7 times since the first containment in █/██/20. SCP-5077 has been observed creating instances of SCP-5077-1 which is a duplicated cell of SCP-5077, this may happen every 3-5 months. SCP-5077 when neutral has been observed to have the same schedule as a modern house cat(Felis Catus), as SCP-5077 seems to stay inactive for extended periods of time: it's unknown if SCP-5077 can sleep. SCP-5077-1 seem to only live up to 1/2 of a day but have been seen surviving longer if near SCP-5077. If or when SCP-5077 morphs into a biohazard material as it did on ███████, ██████ Beach we may have to terminate SCP-5077 or find a material that can withhold, depending on the threat levels. SCP-5077 has been observed morphing into a material similar to iridium and other rare materials which may prove to be useful in future experiments.
