Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: [Paragraphs explaining the procedures]
Description: SCP-XXXX refers to a set of characteristically similarly phenomena. The phenomena randomly occurs on various times (SCP-XXXX-1) spiritually auspicious to religions that have any number of actively worshiping followers, at various locations of secular, cultural, or spiritual importance. All SC-XXXX-1 events are competitive sporting events attended and competed in by mid-level ontokinetic entities resembling deities or divine figures of previously referred-to religions (SCP-XXXX-2). The entities are generally consistent in power/ability, appearance, and personality with the traditions that describe them. Local Hume levels fluctuate over the course of events but are always significantly higher than normal local levels.
Nearly 95% of Aleph Events are some variation of vehicular racing. Other recorded events have involved feats of strength, duels, temple construction*, rodeo, ritualistic sacrifice, and etc. Injury and death are common, but most SCP-XXXX-2 entities are functionally immortal. Injury will typically result in regeneration and "deceased" entities vaporize. Some reappear instantaneously while some reappear at the next event. To date, only 4 entities have been permanently "killed" in events. The cause of such termination is unknown.
SCP-XXXX-2A refers to the entity resembling the Old Kingdom depiction of Ra, Egyptian god of the sun. SCP-XXXX-2A is usually the host of the SCP-XXXX-1 events, overseeing the functions of the events.
