30 Doradus. Designated SCP-XXXX area circled in red.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be monitored 24/7 by Mobile Task Force Psi-3 ("Stargazers"). Additionally, Foundation satellites Star Dimmer, located 58 million km from SCP-XXXX-A, Ring Master, located 196 million kilometers from SCP-XXXX-A, Outer Dust, located 2 billion kilometers from SCP-XXXX-1, and Vacuum Cleaner, located 67 million kilometers out of the designated SCP-XXXX area are to monitor SCP-XXXX. If any spacial anomaly is observed leaking out of the assigned SCP-XXXX area, researchers are to report it to the nearest available higher up immediately.

Description: SCP-XXXX is the designation given to a highly anomalous solar system within 30 Doradus.

SCP-XXXX orbits 30 Doradus, at a speed exceptionally slower than other solar systems around it. SCP-XXXX has an anomalous effect against any celestial bodies with a diameter greater than 2,326 kilometers. When an object meeting these requirements comes within a 2 million kilometer range from SCP-XXXX, the object will rapidly move above or below SCP-XXXX, and will start to accelerate rapidly, until it is about 2 light years away from SCP-XXXX, where it will then go back to its original orbiting position and speed.

The SCP-XXXX system also contains three anomalous points of interest, labelled SCP-XXXX-A-C.

SCP-XXXX-A appears no different from an average O-Type Blue Supergiant, however its behavior is vastly different from that of a normal star. SCP-XXXX-A does not rotate at all, and has not moved from its location within SCP-XXXX since the Foundation discovered it. Additionally, SCP-XXXX-A does not go through the process of nuclear fusion, as it has no elemental content at all.

SCP-XXXX-B is a ring surrounding SCP-XXXX-A, comprised of 4102 planets, 784 moons and 3 dwarf planets (all of which are to be identified as SCP-XXXX-B1-4889 from now on) surrounding SCP-XXXX-A, at a distance of 321 million kilometers away. SCP-XXXX-B1-4889 defy the laws of physics, as all of the instances are so close to each other that they should be destroyed by the gravitational pull of one another. This is especially clear in the region known as the Novis Supercluster1 Some instances should have started the process of nuclear fusion due to their massive size, while others share no signs of essential parts of a celestial body.

SCP-XXXX-C takes the physical appearance of a supermassive black hole with the mass of over 6 million solar masses, residing on the barrier of the designated SCP-XXXX area. SCP-XXXX-C produces no gravitational effect on any object, and merely acts as a portal to an unknown location. Objects have been observed to come out of SCP-XXXX-C, with some examples being:

  • A very large hand, estimated to be about the size of our own Sun.
  • A notebook with its contents being that of indecipherable words and images.
  • A picture of Dr. ████████ (See Addendum-XXXX-A).
  • A blood stained pencil.
  • An unidentified ship, which crashed into SCP-XXXX-B42 an hour later (See Addendum-XXXX-B).
