Description: SCP-5118 is a mid 13th century hurdy gurdy. It's origins are entirely unknown. SCP-5118 was found on a sunken ship off the coast of ████████, France. SCP-5118 has various engravings and looks to be heavily used. There is a wooden carving of a human head at the top of the item. The head is sentient and can communicate with humans, it seems to have the ability to communicate with other animals but chooses not to. The head can change it's voice and personality to pander to who it's speaking to, it seems to know exactly how to make any person it talks to trust it. There is an engraving of a melody on the back of the object. The melody reads as follows: ████████████████████████████.
The wooden head at the top of the object will, upon sighting any human, begin to try to convince them to pick it up, the victim will become compelled to pick up SCP-5118 unless they know of SCp-5118's effects. If the victim does pick up SCP-5118, they will be classified as SCP-5118-2. SCP-5118-2 will instinctively walk towards crowds and play the song engraved on the back of SCP-5118. Anyone who hears the melody will from then on be classified as SCP-5118-3. SCP-5118-3 victims will walk around mindlessly humming the tune engraved upon SCP-5118, further infecting people around them. All SCP-5118-3 instances, approximately 3 hours after an SCP-5118-2 is created, will become extremely violent and show inhuman strength.
SCP-5118's wooden face will change facial expression seemingly at random, the current SCP-5118-2 along with all existing SCP-5118-3 will feel the emotion that the face is expressing. The face has been shown to exhibit the following emotions, happiness, anger, sadness, ████, lust, fear and jealousy.

SCP-5118: (in a jovial voice) Don't call me that, my name is Theodore.
Dr. Monroe: Alright then, Theodore, why do you want people to play you?
SCP-5118: What kind of question is that? All I want is for people to hear my grand melody!
Dr. Monroe: What happens if they play you?
SCP-5118: Why not try and find out? It'd be easy! I can teach you!
Dr. Monroe: I'll pass, anyways… Theodore, where did you get that name?
SCP-5118: Well nobody ever named me so I just decided to go and name myself!
Dr. Monroe: Who made you?
SCP-5118: (voice transitions to that of Dr. Monroe) Why do you want to know?
Dr. Monroe: What the hell? Stop that.
SCP-5118: (in the voice of Dr. Monroe's mother, who is deceased) Go on, tell me.
