The Respawn Zone

The Respawn Zone
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
Due to the nature of SCP-709's physical form, there is no need to contain SCP-709 unless the state of the room is to be disturbed for more than approximately one (1) hour. SCP-709 is able to move according to its last user, also, thus we have been able to keep it at Site [REDACTED]. No food or drinks are allowed within SCP-709's premise. Even though the room isn't dangerous, SCP-709-1 may be unless carefully watched. Because of this, no personnel under clearance level 3 may enter and must be accompanied by two security guards. Guards are to carry stun batons and Tasers to apprehend SCP-709-1 in case of a struggle. If SCP-709-2 is to activate, all personnel within a 20-meter radius are to evacuate and wait from a safe distance and wait for SCP-709-2 to subside, in which guards are to immediately rush into SCP-709 and "dispose" of SCP-709-1 and wait for subsequent "respawn" to prevent activation of SCP-709-2. During this entire process, no furniture is to be moved. The room must stay in its original state at all times. If not, SCP-709 may move locations.

Description: SCP-709 appears to be a mostly normal looking apartment room with dimensions of (6 x 10) meters, with multiple pieces of furniture found inside. This furniture includes but is not limited to: a fan on the ceiling, a desk with a small brass lamp found on top, a glass coffee table with three (3) chairs seated around it, a mirror found on the wall, some electrical outlets found at different parts of the walls capable of distributing energy no matter where the room is, and the two main components: a twin sized bed with a nightstand on the bed's right side. A small journal with a fountain pen can be found on top of the nightstand. There is nothing written in the journal apart from the words "Better Luck Next Time!" found inside the cover, and is thought to be supposed to be used by the current user of SCP-709. When inspected, all of the furniture in the room is normal. The chairs are made of normal brown leather, and the nightstand and table are made of red burgundy wood. SCP-709 Consists of three main components: SCP-709, the room itself. SCP-709-1, the current user of SCP-709 who is bound to SCP-709, and SCP-709-2, the mysterious force that seems to govern the room and the user. SCP-709 is a room capable of reviving its current user, no matter what fate they may have met beforehand. From previous observations, it has been noted that to use SCP-709 and become bound, one must walk into the room and walk over to the nightstand. There, the user must write their name using the fountain pen given (No other writing device is accepted apart from the said pen), and the reason they want to live again. After this, nothing will happen until the test subject sleeps in the bed.
Once subject enters REM state during sleep, there is no way to reverse the effects of SCP-709. Once the subject wakes up from sleep, it is noted that they feel very well rested and full of energy, no matter what the subject's previous state was. It is also noted that the subject's mental problems such as depression and other illnesses are inexplicably cured. It is after this change, that the subject is from there on bound to SCP-709. From there on out, the subject may leave the room and do whatever they please. If the subject were to meet their end at any time, their body will be possessed by SCP-709-2, the ghostly entity that is thought to be SCP-709's physical power, and they will be walked back into SCP-709 where they would then find themselves in SCP-709's bed the next day, healthy with no wounds to be found. Memories do appear to be foggy when it comes to cause of death. This is most likely a measure to stop any sort of trauma to take place. While this power may be extremely powerful, allowing the user to be practically invincible they must sleep in the bed found in SCP-709 every night for the effects to continue to take place.
