Special Containment Procedures: Due to SCP-4740 being a deserted facility in the backlands of Montana, containment is a barbed wire perimeter 1 kilometer around the facility with watchtowers placed every 100 meters with 24 hour personal monitoring SCP-4740

Description: SCP-4740 is a facility of unknown origin and use, the facility came into foundation eyes after a series of people went missing in the town of [REDACTED], Montana. The disappearances lead a search party to the facility and upon entering the search party saw an unknown humanoid entity and they were attacked by said entity. Once in foundation eyes SCP-4740 exploration was mentioned to O5 council and was approved for ZETA-9 (MOLE RATS) to explore the facility. Upon losing contact with the Mole Rats the following log was recovered

EXPLORATION LOG 001:

Z-1: We’re almost there, command do you copy?

Command: We read you loud and clear.

Z-1: Copy that, you guys ready?

Z-2: As ready as I can get I guess.

Command: according to the few that escaped the unknown entity can move at speeds incapable by any known human.

Z-3: anything else we need needs to know?.

Command: there appears to be a large basement level which is where the entity is thought to hide.

Z-3: so is this entity humanoid?

Command: affirmative.

Z-4: I hate humanoids they're always creepier than most of the other entities.

Z-2 :no………spiders………f***ing spiders……

Z-1: is this the facility?

Command: Affirmative, just break the chains on the door and enter the facility

Z-2: Christ it's dark in here

Z-4: you guys smell that?

Z-1: smells like rotting meat, Command when was the attack?

Z-3: that's not long enough for meat to rot…..Is there any known time anomalies?

Command: Negative, just try and get it, contain the entity, and get out.
