containment procedures: upon retrieval of an instance of scp-xxxx they are to be sent to site [REDACTED], in this site, all personnel are to be only fed the regular caloric intake of an average adult, nothing more. if any are found losing weight at a rapid rate, they are to be examined to see if they are a host of scp-xxxx. all personnel that will come into contact with the hosts of scp-xxxx contained there must wear equipment made to clamp their jaw shut, as to avoid any personnel being made a host of scp-xxxx. no one is allowed to enter site [REDACTED] unless specifically ordered to by the foundation. anyone leaving the site will have their diet strictly monitored as to ensure no instances of scp-xxxx escape the site. every month class-d personnel will be taken to site [REDACTED] to be used as new hosts for scp-xxxx.
description: scp-xxxx is a parasite which takes full controll of it's host's mind. upon infection, the host will consume notably more food than they usually would. despite this, they will slowly lose weight and eventually become dangerously malnourished. the reason for this is that the scp feeds off of the host's body. when the host begins to become dangerously malnourished, the scp will begin looking for a new host. once it finds one that is suitable, they will kidnap their new host. then, a few days later they will enter their new host, and leave the old host's body alive but in a heavily malnourished state. the old host will know have control again over their body, and will not remember anything they did while under the control of the scp. most of the time, they will be past the point of saving. recordings of the host switching event has shown that the scp will pry open the mouth of their new host, and detatch from the brain of their current host, crawling out of the mouth and into the mouth of their new host. from there it will make its way to the new host's brain. scp-xxxx is intelligent, and uses its intelligence in order to blend in with humans. one instance of scp-xxxx even made a deal with the foundation, that it would help it find more instances of scp-xxxx in return for better living conditions and a more frequent supply of hosts.
