SCP involved: SCP-, SCP-.A, SCP-.A.1
Personnel involved: SCP- Lead Researcher: Phatiff Umaya, Junior Researcher: Abed Daniels, [REDACTED]
Date: █/█/██02.
Location: Site 42
Description:
On █/█/██02, a security breach in site 42 was cause for a Code: Blue priority C containment breach which was escalated to a Code: Red priority A and a near AR-500 response.
During a sanctioned experiment concerning SCP_-it’s byproduct- SCP-.A- was transferred to a D-Class personnel using SCP- resulting in [REDACTED]. D-Class was reclassified as an instance of SCP-A.1. SCP-A.1 proceded to cause minimal damage to Site 42 lab 03, lab 04 and lab 0█. Local security, composed of two on site security officers, responded to breach and assessed the situation as low risk and moved SCP-.A.1. back into lab 0█. However, while security was finalizing the securing of SCP.A.1 into lab 0█, SCP-.A.1 was heard asking one of the security officers what they’re favorite [REDACTED] was, after which SCP-.A.1. attacked and maimed one security officer. Then, SCP-.A.1, using unknown means, caused the instant expiration of the other security officer.
Dr. Umaya then managed to inform the site administration on situation upsurge which led to previously mentioned containment breach escalation. In the meantime, SCP-.A.1 proceeded to cause maimed security personnel to expire- once again using an unknown mean- before her wounds could take effect. SCP-.A.1 then drew a [REDACTED] on the lab wall using blood and viscera.
Both Dr. Umaya and Dr. Daniels hid within lab 0█ for an indeterminate amount of time. Then, SCP-A.1 approached Umaya and Daniles, using a personal sidearm, incapacitated SCP-A.1. Finally, despite Umaya’s instance, Daniels neutralized SCP-A.1 using a standard Swiss army knife, also determined to be Daniels personal belonging. MTF-Gamma-5 arrived shortly after and secured site 42.
Information gathered throughout post incident and recovery operations merit SCP- experimentation as: Discontinued.
NOTES: Both employee 4█6█-34█2-6783, Abed Daniels, and employee 1453-7876-909█, Phatiff Umaya are to receive a minimum of two hours evaluation by site 42 physiologist, Dr. [REDACTED].
Item #:
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP- is to be kept in a secure storage unit at site 62-C. No blood or anything containing any of the basic building blocks of blood should be placed within a 50 meter radius of SCP-, except during testing periods; limitations apply to Hemoglobin as well as Hemerythrin, Hemocyanin and Chlorocruorin.
All files concerning SCP- should be uploaded to Foundation database 62-C- and only database 62-C- before being disclosed to all Foundation shell companies to ensure no other SCP- enters the general populous.
Description: SCP- is a standard army issue pen type blood collection needle. The SCP has the anomalous ability to remove blood from any subject the needle has been inserted into- despite no longer being inserted, connected or touching the subject.
In order for SCP- to exhibit it’s anomalous quality, its needle has to have been previously inserted into the subject, SCP- must be connected to a modified terminal and subjects age, species scientific name, gender, full name, ethnicity, blood type and [REDACTED] must have been entered into compatible terminal.
SCP- can draw blood from subjects within 50 meters. The withdrawal of blood cannot be impeded by any traditional signal, electronic or wave disrupting equipment. Efforts to devise a method to cancel anomalous effects are underway prohibited. Any blood or blood-like fluid withdrawn from subjects will flow out of the terminal dispensing mechanism and be labeled SCP-.A. (see Addendum SCP-.3)
Any attempt to return SCP-.A to the subject by medically sound means will have no anomalous effects. Any attempt to return SCP-.A to the subject by means of SCP- will result in [REDACTED] and a CODE: RED lockdown priority A of local site under standard 04 protocol would be advisable. Any attempts to transfer SCP-A. into any subject by any means not authorized by SCP- lead researcher will result in immediate termination and amnesticization.
