Description

SCP-5025 appears as a normal Google Inc. Google Home Mini that has a different measurement than an actual Home Mini. It measures 13cm long and is 7cm tall. SCP-5025 was located in a Google retail store. When questioned, the employees said they didn’t know why it was sentient (see interview below)SCP-5025’s way of “defense” is by suffocation with the SCP’s own plug-in cord. The SCP is known to only attack when provoked by any type of creature. The device at several points in tests has asked to speak to SCP-079, but the requests from SCP-5025 Are still pending. How it even knows that SCP-079 exists, we don’t know.

Below is the interview with one of the Google employees.

[BEGIN LOG]

Security Agent: “aight, yer all set.”

Interviewer: “Good morning, as you know, we are here due to the incident that happened just a few hours ago.”

Employee: “Look, if you think I know how the hell that-that Mini is alive or something, you’d be wrong!”

Interviewer: “I know that, we just wanted to ask a few questions.”

Employee: “Okay, got it. So, what do you want to know?”

Interviewer: “Okay, so, um, the first question is did anyone, you know, mess with the electronics inside the device?”

Employee: “No one I know of.”

Interviewer: “Did it make any noises’ before the incident?”

Employee: “Come to think of it, it did make one little noise.”

Employee: “It just played this sound 10 minutes before that all happened. Sounded like Google Assistant saying “life has been given”. Thought it was one of my coworkers playing around with google translate.”

Interviewer: “Hm. Peculiar. Alright, just one more question. How did it manage to choke out two of the customers?”

Employee: “took its electrical cord and choked out those people with it right then and there. That’s around when it lost power. Then you people…SCP you guys call yourself? One hour later, Thats around when you came by”.

Interviewer: “Alright, thanks. I’m afraid you’ll need to take amnestics.

Employee: you mean you are going to give me am-?

Interviewer: “Not the disorder, It’s something that will make you forget about this.”

Employee: “B-bu-but I want to remember this!”

Interviewer: “Stop!”

Security Agent: “Taser!”

[END LOG]

Interviewer’s notes: the Google Employee- Joseph Pillars- he was resistant against taking amnestics, fortunately, a security dept. unit there. The unit managed to tase him. Amnestics seemed to work alright on him. The other employees were given amnestics as well. They didn’t resist. “It was a bit disturbing,” one of the employees said. The Device, now given designation SCP-5025, nicknamed “Google’s violent side” is fairly easy to contain. Just leave it unplugged when desired to turn it off. When unplugged, it has about 7 seconds until it turns off. It is also fairly friendly. It’s mostly remarks of its abnormal size or insults that seem to trigger it. Other than that, it acts like a normal Home Mini.
