It's for a humanoid being I have come up with.
It's a color black so black it eats any light cast upon it like a black hole. (Note that's not an ability it's the color of the being) (side note look up the color VANTA BLACK)
It has feline and wolf features but far more exaggerated and can stand upright. It's speed can only be explained as a sort of teleportation.(but yet to be understood)
It's shape can change to a quadroped like form allowing it to move at such speeds.
Story has it to have been the guardian of the under world a title or task given by ancient Egyptian gods who helped create the civilizations of Egypt that are now just crumbled pyramids and statues of today.
Side note. There is some speculation that this being was used as the guardian of the under world and given a servant name of ANUBIS. But when the fall of the Egyption civilization came to be the being was no longer obligated to over see who is to be forever damned in the underworld. Now free of its slave form it collected all the souls behind the doors it once guarded becoming this black void of a being.

This being has been confused for the Indian legend wendigo, some mistook it for the rural dog man even said it to be a werewolf. Note: some people of Mexico have mistook it for the chupacabra.
This may or may not be a physical form for lack of better words, of a JINN or D'JINN depending on who is giving this description.
It is very smart and very very manipulative, thought to be telepathic (unconfirmed)
It may whisper to you from the darkness but it's speed allows the sound from the being to travel feeling like it's in different parts of the room. (Also unconfirmed)

Containment:
Because of the nature of the creature and information recovered from Anchent Egyption hieroglyphs that are unlike any others found we can speculate this being or creature is a purge for civilizations that are headed in a direction that is filled with negative energy. It was forced to work for God's or creators as a gate keeper.
How ever. As more was understood the hieroglyphs revealed that Quibus Caligo was not under control and used his position to take the souls of the damed followed by a massive extinction of the Egyption people and lastly the ones who thought they made it a slave. The hieroglyphs end abruptly with images unfinished of what looks like a Sun only larger and BLACK. Its believe that the last life taken at the time was one of the creators himself or herself as they wrote the explanation of the being. A unfinished image of what looks like a large Star or Sun but the color is black and as stated looks to have not been finished almost as if the artist was ripped away from his or her seat leaving an image smeared and distorted.Note: these writings were found in a areah void of any light. And may have been why this being was able to find every last soul in the pyramid. End note.
Containment:
After countless attempts and lives lost to match. The black sun was the key.
Infared light. A spectrum our eyes cannot see unassisted was discovered to work as a sort of invisable wall or barrier that can contain this being.
But it needs to be a high output IR light and undisrupted or contaminated by any other lightsource. A 0% amount of all other spectrum has to be obtained to contain this being.
Friction causes heat and inturn will create light we cannot see. That is enough to disrupt this containment unit. Special clearance and traning is protocall to have any type of contact.
