SCP-XXXX-1 Is to be contained within a sealed storage box. No cameras should be allowed within close proximity of the containment box.

Description:
SCP-XXXX-1 Is a crystal identified as a pure 'Rose Quartz' shard. The Crystal is broken at the bottom.
SCP-XXXX-1 Can be observed in Three different states.

  1. Inactive
    • SCP-XXXX-1 can be observed to be the negative colour to the light source present when SCP-XXXX-1 is under observation. If no light source is present, SCP-XXXX-1 is the same colour as normal Rose Quartz.
  2. Charged
    • SCP-XXXX-1 absorbs all electromagnetic radiation between 1nm to 750nm. If SCP-XXXX-1 is left in a room with no light pollution, SCP-XXXX-1 will enter its Active state.
  3. Active
    • SCP-XXXX-1 during its active state will quickly start glow at 390nm. The light emitted from SCP-XXXX-1 will envelop the room, blinding present personnel and/or optical equipment within the first minute of being in the active state. The glowing will last for two to five minutes. if any external light enters the affected room before the first minute, SCP-XXXX-1 will stop emitting light and revert to the inactive state. Any personnel or objects that stay within the affected room for the entire active state are transported to a pocket dimension classified as SCP-XXXX-2.

When SCP-XXXX-1 is exposed to light, The SCP is observed to alter its colour to be negative to the light source.
if exposed to Ultraviolet light, SCP-XXXX-1 will begin to go into its second state.

If SCP-XXXX-1 is placed into a room with another object during SCP-XXXX's second state, The object present will be transported into a pocket dimension designated SCP-XXXX-2.
