Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a chamber kept as far from any source of radiation from infrared to ultraviolet. To this end, it is currently contained 1200 metres below surface level in a pre existing mineshaft (formerly used by the Foundation to mine █████, an element used for its extreme radiation blocking properties) under pretense of a physics laboratory in ████████, ██████, ████████ ████████ attempting to detect "Dark Matter".

Description: SCP-XXXX is a 10 metre x 10 metre x 10 metre cube of an unknown anomalous transparent material, the exact makeup of which is uncertain and, due to its nature, requires Level 4 clearance for testing. Writing appears on one side, but is not visible through SCP-XXXX. The writing appears in a range of languages, available on request from the site manager. This property does not apply to photographic images of SCP-XXXX, instead defaulting to standard English.

SCP-XXXX appeared in Site 3190 at 09:30 █████/██/██. Close examination of recovered security footage reveals a sudden burst of light followed by SCP-XXXX suddenly appearing. SCP-XXXX has been estimated to have been moving at speeds in excess of 22000m/s¹, destroying the majority of the Site and causing ███ casualties. Despite this, SCP-XXXX was undamaged.

SCP-XXXX-1's most obvious anomalous properties are its extreme density, a and its ability to transform thermal energy and radiation of wavelength 10 nm-1mm and frequency 30 PHz-300 GHz absorbed into inward contractions.

This transformation occurs at a standard rate of 1.28 x 10^-1█m/s under current procedures but is theorised to vastly accelerate under favourable conditions. Under the current constant rate of contraction it it is theorised it may cause a Class XK End of the World Senario in ██.████ ████████ years.
