Item #: SCP-4000

Object Class: Safe Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4000 is to be contained within a 5x5 perimeter where no organic material is to be present within the room or in perception of SCP-4000. A minimum of two guards are to be stationed at the containment chamber at all times ,and are to be rotated out every two hours. The Island the SCP-4000 resides on has a standard Foundation Naval base built around it under the guise of a US Navy DARPA testing facility. At no time is a Security agent to "humor" SCP-4000's attempts at vocal communication if it is necessary to enter its containment chamber. It is necessary for security personnel, or in case of short staffing D-Class, to trim SCP-4000 growths and the tree it is connected to.

Description: SCP-4000 is a aproximately 20 year old male with a skin complexion that is very pale in colour this is likely due to a vitamin D deficiency. Although SCP-4000 requires no natural forms of sustenance it has expressed a like and want to eat and "feel the sun".SCP-4000 has vines that appear almost mechanical in nature growing from inside its mouth that do not impede its ability to speak. SCP-4000 has a seemingly near omniscient level of intelligence to all things it can perceive. Where SCP-4000's eyes would be are pit that have more vine like tendrils. The vines are mechanical in nature and emit a light blue glow. The vines are made of a material that apears to be made out of some sort of beryllium bronze with a much higher tensile strength. Although the vines are made of metal they move like normal plant matter bending easily. The tree SCP-4000 is connect to bears no resemblance to any known tree. The tree has leave that are golden in colour and appear to be made of a form of SCP-148 SCP-4000 to it. The bark of the tree is a stark purple colour. The wood is near impenetrable requiring a Tungsten carbide cutting tool to collect one ounce. Material analysis of the wook and bark show that there are trace elements inside of it among these are gold, silver, copper, and the building blocks of telekill.1
