Description: SCP-4926 is the now abandoned █████████ State Hospital located in █████████, Pennsylvania. The hospital was shut down on █/██/1975 due to unknown reasons. Before this date, no reports of anomalous activity have been found. SCP-4926's anomalous properties manifest in the following locations in the hospital (Floors 1 through 3 have been dubbed SCP-4926-A):
The basement of SCP-4926, hereby referred to as SCP-4926-B, is a spacial anomaly, where the size of the basement is many times larger than what the exterior should allow. When at least three instances of 4926-1 wander into the basement, a seemingly ritualistic event occurs. Once the ritual begins, the instances partaking are now designated as SCP-4926-2. SCP-4926-2 instances will shake hands and then assume a traditional Catholic prayer position. After exactly 37 seconds, SCP-4926-2 instances will rise from their prayer positions and begin to violently attack each other, until only one instance of SCP-4926-2 is able to remain standing. If no instances are able to stand, an SCP-4926-THEMOS event occurs2. If any outside force interferes with this process, an SCP-4926-THEMOS event will occur, regardless of the ritual that occurs within SCP-4926-B.
SCP-4926-1 instances are humanoid entities that seem to be exact duplicates of 47 year old Kenneth ██████, the last known patient admitted to the hospital. No other records of a Kenneth ███████ ever existing at the time have been found. Kenneth ███████ showed symptoms that suggested Lung Cancer, but no tests were performed at the time. At exactly 16:47 SCP-4926-1 instances will materialize in the aforementioned locations, bearing appropriate clothing for their location, such as wearing period appropriate casual clothing when they materialize in the bathrooms or waiting room, wearing patient gowns in exam and patient rooms, etc. Most notably, a large portion of instances seem to be hospital staff, such as janitors, receptionists, nurses, and even Physicians and Surgeons. During this period, the instances seem to run, for all intents and purposes, a functioning hospital, with patients suffering from a plethora of conditions, the hospital staff seem to have formed a healthy rapport with most other instances, and personal relationships forming. All instances on hospital staff wear a name tag that bears the name Kenneth. See Addendum 4926-A for more information. How instances are able to determine which "Kenneth" is being referred to when talking to one another is currently unknown. All instances will ignore any non-SCP-4926-1 human within the building unless an instances comes in direct contact with a human, which causes an SCP-4926-THEMOS event to occur. (See Incident log 4926-1) Instances of SCP-4926-1 display superhuman strength, with no upper limit to their strength known as of yet. All instances of SCP-4926-1 and SCP-4926-2 will cease to exist at exactly 4:03 the following morning, regardless of an SCP-4926-THEMOS event. Upon the instances reappearing at 16:47, a similar order of events will occur, but interactions with other instances and personalities of each instance are seemingly completely different from the cycle before. When all instances disappear, all supplies needed for the hospital are restocked by unknown means.
When an SCP-4926-THEMOS event occurs, all instances of SCP-4926-1 will immediately halt their current actions and travel to SCP-4926-B, regardless of any injury or ailment that would normally prevent them from doing so. Upon arriving in SCP-4926-B. all SCP-4926-1 instances will [REDACTED] the instances that participated in the ritual until the instances are dead, then will carry the deceased instances to the roof of the hospital. If the SCP-4926-THEMOS event occurs due to outside interference, then the SCP-4926-1 instances will select 3 seemingly random instances, then carry out the rest of the event. Their corpse will then be carried out to the roof in a similar fashion. Once all 3 dead instances of SCP-4926-1 are successfully transported to the roof, approximately 30 cathartes aura, dubbed SCP-4926-2, will materialize on the edges of the roof, and feed on the corpses at an extremely accelerated pace, leaving nothing but the skeleton remaining in less than three minutes.. Once all victims have been consumed by the SCP-4926-2 instances, all SCP-4926-2 instances will fly north exactly 3 kilometers, then disappear. All SCP-4926 instances will then return to the interior of the Hospital and continue their day until the cycle expires.
