Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is located in a remote, forested section of ████ State, USA. As it is a phenomenon localized to this area and cannot be moved Site-XXXX was built adjacent to the epicenter to facilitate study and containment. All roads leading to Site-XXXX are heavily camouflaged dirt tracks built by the Foundation to transport supply and personnel to the site. All hunting or hiking trails near Site-XXXX have been destroyed and through government channels forestry officials have been advised to stay at least 20 km away from the area. If patrols discover anyone within 20 km of Site-XXXX they are to be detained and interrogated. Security personal are to note anything that may be disguised radio transceiver equipment concealed on their person. If they did stumble across the site mistakenly they are to be administered Class A Amnestics and released well outside of the perimeter. Any electronic recording device the intruders possess is to be destroyed before release.
Greater caution must be applied to anyone or anything appearing within or leaving Site-XXXX without approval. SCP-XXXX must be surrounded by a security cordon including searchlights, a razor-wire fence encircling the entirety of the compound and cameras hidden in trees to record as much of the area as possible. Entrance and exit of Site-XXXX may only take place in a single, multiple-stage metal gate. A concrete blockhouse adjacent to the gate is to contain a security team with military level weapons and training. Under no circumstances is anyone to be permitted to leave Site-XXXX outside of designated times. Anyone attempting to do so is to be terminated immediately on suspicion of being compromised.
Staff within Site-4000 are to understand that they must live on-site and that their privacy is entirely revoked during their stay. All sections of Site-XXXX are monitored with security cameras 24 hours a day including private areas such as restrooms and sleeping quarters. All staff, researchers, security personnel and maintenance are encouraged to develop close ties with one another. Special focus should be being given to learning intimate details about beliefs, behaviors and any other identifying features. This knowledge should be retained by all staff in order to instantly determine whether a staff member is being impersonated by outside entities.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomalous radio transmission emanating from a section of ███ National Forest. Foundation officials first became aware of the transmissions when United States Forest Service members working in the area gave a report to their superiors at the Department of Agriculture. According to the report they heard a radio broadcast of unknown origin that made frequent reference to the Foundation, anomalous entities, containment procedures, various secret research sites and [DATA EXPUNGED] Foundation officials embedded within the Department of Agriculture intercepted the report, ordered the Forestry Service officials given Class-A amnestics and started containment procedures on 8-16-20██.
The broadcasts can be heard most clearly at SCP-XXXX's epicenter at ██ ' N, ██ ' E. The transmission becomes less and less audible in a radius of 2km extending out from that central point until the effect terminates completely. Any standard radio can be used to hear the broadcast which appears on all stations no matter the frequency. All other radio transmissions no matter how strong the signal or close the source cannot be heard within this 2km zone. A number of unusual changes in electromagnetic radiation have been noted within SCP-XXXX's proximity extending upwards of 10 km. Staying unshielded directly within SCP-XXXX's epicenter has been known to cause nosebleeds, headaches and severe fatigue.
The transmission can only be heard on Friday morning between 2400 hours and 0700 hours with the majority of transmissions appearing between 0100 and 0300. Some weeks there is no transmission at all but no more than 3 weeks ever pass without at least some sort of vocalization being heard at the designated time frame. The transmissions can be as little as 1 or 2 minutes or go on for over an hour. The longest transmission ever recorded lasted 1 hour 22 minutes, 14 seconds on 04-18-20██. All transmissions can be recorded with standard sound equipment. To date no transmissions have had any unusual psychological or memetic properties. Removal from Site-XXXX of any recording taken of an SCP-XXXX transmission is still forbidden by order of the O5-Council. As of ███, a total of 38 hours, 46 minutes and 11 seconds have been recorded. It has been determined based on similar conditions present in both SCP-████ and Site-████ that the transmission from SCP-XXXX has its origins in an alternate Earth. It appears to be a parallel world similar to but ultimately quite different from our own. The primary aim of Site-4000 is to collect as much data as possible about this alternate world, discover how the tear between our two worlds was created and seek a way of closing it if possible.
According to the transmissions from SCP-XXXX this parallel world is currently experiencing a vast global conflict referred to by its participants as The Anomalous War. The war is being fought between two blocks of nations. One side, referred to as The Federalists, is led by the USA and one (known as The ██████ for unknown and potentially troubling reasons) is led by China. The most dangerous part of this conflict has been the use on both sides of anomalous artifacts, creatures, plagues and technology as weapons of war. The Foundation itself has apparently split into two opposing factions alongside either member of the conflict. Whether the Foundation is somehow being controlled by government entities on either side, is willingly participating with them as equals, or is manipulating the government/military of one or both groups is unknown.
The actions of the alternate Foundation are diametrically opposed to almost everything the Foundation in our universe stands for. Rather than keeping dangerous entities imprisoned they have effectively become responsible for releasing anomalous creatures with the intention of harming as many civilians as possible. Determining what could have made the Foundation, an organization based fundamentally on secrecy, enter this conflict is of prime importance to researchers. It has been theorized that the PoD or Point-of-Divergence between our two worlds took place in 1945. In both timelines the Foundation intervened in the closing days of WW2 to assassinate SS OberSturmbahnfuhrer ████ before he could use what was later classified as SCP-████ [DATA EXPUNGED] fundamentally different outcome. The alternate Foundation became more and more interwoven with the actions of military and government entities from that point on.
The radio broadcasts take various forms such as chat shows, talk radio, PSAs, breaking news updates and even ostensibly secret intra-Foundation communiques. The transmissions are believed to come from a Foundation run containment site exactly where Site-XXXX is in our universe. Multiple Foundation members have been identified making transmissions including some that, on our Earth, died years ago. Through the transmissions researchers have been able to learn many things about this alternate world, its people, its political strife and the alternate version of the Foundation. Most of the broadcasts focus in someway on the global conflict, its battles, casualty lists, preventative measures for avoiding exposure to anomalous entities and exhortations to join the military. The public transmissions are suspected to be highly propagandistic in nature and thus must be listened to with skepticism. We are only getting one side (the American) of the conflict and thus cannot know what is true, what is an exaggeration and what is an outright lie. What is known is that anomalous objects and creatures are being spent as war materiel at a frightening pace. Whoever has the most numerous and the most dangerous artifacts and entities is going to overwhelm their opponent's armies. It is no surprise than that this conflict has resulted in greater human suffering than any other event in world history. Claims have been made that over ████ million casualties have been reported from all sides easily eclipsing the death toll of the Second World War.
As of 20██ the war has entered its 6th year and hostilities have entered a stalemate. Huge numbers of civilian and military personal die every day from assaults by Euclid and Keter level creatures, objects or contagions. Most are released in civilian areas to wreak terrible havoc behind enemy lines in preparation for a mass attack by the conventional military. Foundation members must then track, eliminate or more often contain the released entities and ready it for reuse against the side that released it. The logistical nightmare of fighting a modern conflict while stamping out anomalous artifacts and creatures has been exhausting for both sides. Most attacks have fallen into a similar pattern where use of Foundation entities and weaponry is the only thing capable of breaking an enemy's defense. Yet the victory can never be exploited because the area so affected must be thoroughly cleared and scoured of the anomalous items and creatures that secured victory or the aggressor risks annihilating his own forces. In the chaos and confusion the defending state can reassert control far faster than the attacking military can seize any territory. Whether either side, when defeat seems inescapable, will use a potentially apocalyptic entity or object that could destroy the world is unknown.
Extensive scientific testing, still ongoing is being done of the area around SCP-XXXX with special focus being made on atmospheric conditions, radio wave specialists, radiological reports and electromagnetism experts. Based on preliminary testing it seems likely that conditions that led to SCP-XXXX's existence could be duplicated almost anywhere on the planet by [DATE EXPUNGED] Though all testing involving the replication of said measures is forbidden without approval of 2/3rds of the O-5 council. It is of paramount importance to discover whether this rift was intentionally created by the alternate foundation and if so why they have tried to find a door into our world. No attempt to halt the radio signal has yet been successful.

Incident 402 Summary It was assumed for much of its early testing period that SCP-XXXX, though obviously anomalous and possessing top-secret information was not threatening and classified as Safe. This classification was altered after an event known as Incident 402. Incident 402 began on 12-01-20█ when head researcher Dr. Harold Belgrave announced that he had important information about the SCP-XXXX project. He scheduled a staff meeting for all research personnel the following day. After he did not turn up to his own meeting the following morning his facilities and private quarters were searched. Dr. Belgrave's body was discovered sealed inside a maintenance duct [DATA EXPUNGED] unknown how the severe trauma was caused. Many of his research and personal papers had been destroyed or stolen. Security camera records show a creature, dubbed SCP-XXXX-1, who looked identical to Dr. Belgrave arranging for a Foundation car and driver to take him off-site. SCP-XXXX-1's mannerisms and behaviors were noted by security personnel as being vaguely off or strange. The car ordered by SCP-XXXX-1 was found over 45 km away abandoned on the side of the road. The driver was found in the trunk killed in much the same manner as Dr. Belgrave. No trace of SCP-XXXX-1 has been seen since the incident. During the autopsy the following damaged paper was discovered on Dr. Belgrave's person hidden in his clothes:

War against a military-backed, aggressive and probably extremely desperate enemy that knows every one of our secrets and is totally callous to loss of life after the deaths of ███████. Our own hellish doppelganger set against our entire world. DAMAGED…alone. They speak often of “breeding grounds.” A planetary farm DAMAGED…
Subsequent to Dr. Belgrave's death a number of incidents including the stealing of 18 █████ from Site-███ and the containment breach of SCP-███ and SCP-████ have been linked to the SCP-XXXX-1 entity. SCP-XXXX-1's identity is still a matter of conjecture. It might have been a creature with the ability to shape shift such as SCP-██ or it might have been the Dr. Belgrave from the other Earth on a covert mission into our world. SCP XXXX-1 is an extraordinarily dangerous entity and should if possible be captured and interrogated. It has anomalous abilities and an intimate knowledge of Foundation facilities and containment procedures. There has been no noted change to the broadcasts since the incident suggesting that the alternate Foundation does not know what has occurred.

Addendum XXXX-A: While both sides seem to have avoided releasing anything that my cause an HK Class End of the World scenario that is not beyond the realm of possibility. Whether the current faint link between our worlds could cause that apocalyptic event to spread to our Earth is of paramount importance to the Foundation.
