Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard containment cell at Site-██. SCP-XXXX is to be positioned facing the window of its containment cell. An automatic recording software will capture any SCP-XXXX events should no personnel be present to witness the phenomena. Requests to bring SCP-XXXX out of its containment cell must be cleared with Head Researcher █████.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a detailed sculpture of a human head. While it appears to be made of marble the sculpture is actually partially malleable and can be re-sculpted and manipulated like clay, although it can never be re sculpted into something other than a human head. SCP-XXXX's appearance has not to date affected the contents of SCP-XXXX events in any meaningful manner. SCP-XXXX may occasionally re-sculpt itself in response to an SCP-XXXX event, and as of the 325th event SCP-XXXX resembles a young adult woman with tears running down its face.
SCP-XXXX events occur at 12:00 every day. These events change the appearance of whichever room SCP-XXXX is currently contained in, however this change is temporary. The walls and ceiling of the original room are either extended or removed entirely. The appearance of the floor is visually altered in a similar way but remains solid. Viewers are free to move around in this altered space, and are returned to their original position when the event ends. Tests done with tracking devices show that viewers' positions do not actually change during the manifestation. Additionally, sound produced by anything other than a human being is muted for the duration of the event.
Once the SCP-XXXX event has been recorded or witnessed for 50 minutes the room will regain its original state. An SCP-XXXX event will not end until it has been viewed, uninterrupted, for a total of 50 minutes. These instances will almost always have some form of ambient noise1 in the background. The source of these sounds appears to be SCP-XXXX, although it is unknown at this time how SCP-XXXX produces these sounds. SCP-XXXX events can vary greatly in appearance2 Entities in SCP-XXXX events, barring SCP-XXXX-1, will never look directly at the viewer.
SCP-XXXX-1 is a human entity that appears in certain SCP-XXXX instances. SCP-XXXX-1 has only appeared after SCP-XXXX has been made to face the same subject matter five times, with SCP-XXXX-1 appearing in every subsequent SCP-XXXX event3 until SCP-XXXX is made to face a new subject. SCP-XXXX-1 is distinguishable from other entities in SCP-XXXX events due to the fact that it will always be looking at the individual viewing the event, be it a human being or a recording device. If multiple people are viewing the instance, they will react as though SCP-XXXX-1 was looking exclusively at them. SCP-XXXX-1 will then turn its attention to SCP-XXXX for the remainder of the event. So far, only three documented appearances of SCP-XXXX-1 exist, with it taking on the appearance of a young woman, an elderly man and an androgynous teenager. SCP-XXXX-1 has yet to manifest when SCP-XXXX is facing its cell window.
It is unknown at this time if SCP-XXXX is sentient.
Test-XXXX-01
SCP-XXXX position: Facing its cell window.
SCP-XXXX viewers: Researcher █████.
Results: The SCP-XXXX event manifested as a sky scene. The floor, ceiling and walls all appeared to reflect the appearance of the sky as it appeared outside the window. The floor remained solid despite its change in appearance.
Test-XXXX-02
SCP-XXXX position: Facing a plain white wall.
SCP-XXXX viewers: Researcher █████.
Results: The SCP-XXXX event manifested as a park. Every element of the scene was entirely white, including people, plants and the sky.
Test-XXXX-06
SCP-XXXX position: Facing the plain white wall used in tests 02 through 05.
SCP-XXXX viewers: Researcher █████.
Results: The SCP-XXXX event manifested as a desert. As with previous tests, the scene was entirely white. The ambient noise, the sound of the desert wind, was unusually loud considering the nature of the sound. SCP-XXXX-1 appeared in the foreground as a severely emaciated woman shouting at the viewer.
Notes: This is the first documented appearance of SCP-XXXX-1. Test-XXXX-07 resulted in the same landscape with SCP-XXXX-1 appearing closer to the viewer.
Test-XXXX-26
SCP-XXXX position: Facing Head Researcher █████'s desk.
SCP-XXXX viewers: Researcher █████.
Results: The SCP-XXXX event manifested as a large room decorated like a 17th century French banquet room. The long, ornate wooden table was topped with food that corresponded the time period.
Test-XXXX-31
SCP-XXXX position: Facing a copy of Edouard Manet's Olympia.
SCP-XXXX viewers: None.
Results: The SCP-XXXX event manifested as a near empty art gallery. Olympia could be seen on display near a sculpture resembling SCP-XXXX4. Other paintings displayed in the gallery appeared blurry and distorted. A young, nude woman resembling the Olympia's subject could be seen walking around and examining the other works.
Test-XXXX-34
SCP-XXXX position: Facing a copy of Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night.
SCP-XXXX viewers: Researcher █████.
Results: The SCP-XXXX event manifested as a bright, shifting representation of space. The space represented matched the painting style of Starry Night.
Test-XXXX-38
SCP-XXXX position: A puppy on a short leash held down by a weight.
SCP-XXXX viewers: None.
Results: The SCP-XXXX event manifested an expansive green field. The leash and weight were entirely absent from the projection and the puppy disappeared over a hill in the background.
Notes: Once the SCP-XXXX event had been recorded for 50 minutes, the puppy, leash and weight returned to their original positions when the manifestation ended.
Test-XXXX-54
SCP-XXXX position: Facing a copy of Francisco Goya's Saturn Devouring his Son.
SCP-XXXX viewers: None.
Results: The SCP-XXXX event manifested as a barren wasteland, the bodies of children could be seen hanging from dead trees, one such tree bowing under the weight of all the corpses that had been hung on its branches. Certain humanoid figures could be seen either consuming or putting up the corpses.
Test-XXXX-56
SCP-XXXX position: Facing a copy of Otto Rapp's Deterioration Of Mind Over Matter
SCP-XXXX viewers: D-34370, D-78201, D-65239 and D-45222
Results: The scene played out as an endless loop of a giant SCP-XXXX melting and reforming. SCP-XXXX's face resembled that of a screaming child. Assorted bodies, severed limbs, viscera and [DATA EXPUNGED] constantly poured out of the object's eye sockets and a constant scream could be heard. SCP-XXXX-1 was seen sobbing in the foreground in the form of an elderly man with bloodshot eyes.
Notes: SCP-XXXX had been re-sculpted two weeks prior by Head Researcher █████ to resemble a laughing, middle-aged man, the object had undergone no changes following the test. When individuals that had viewed the manifestation or recording were asked how they recognised SCP-XXXX, they responded by saying it was "obvious".
Test-XXXX-57-1
SCP-XXXX position: Facing a chess set.
SCP-XXXX viewers: Dr. ██████, Dr. █████, D-77543
Results: The SCP-XXXX event initially manifested as a room full of people playing chess. Everything in the room was monochromatic save the chess sets with each piece corresponding to a different colour.
Test-XXXX-57-2
SCP-XXXX position: Facing a chess set.
SCP-XXXX viewers: Dr. ██████, Dr. █████, D-77543
Results: The SCP-XXXX event manifested as SCP-XXXX's containment cell with its ceiling removed. Head Researcher █████'s body can be seen floating in the middle of the room. Individuals witnessing the SCP-XXXX event stated they were reluctant to enter the projection and said they felt "vaguely threatened".
Notes: At this time, SCP-████ had escaped containment and severely wounded Head Researcher █████. SCP-XXXX immediately modified the projection to match for reasons currently unknown.
Test-XXXX-103
SCP-XXXX position: Facing its cell window.
SCP-XXXX viewers: None.
Results: The SCP-XXXX event manifested as a sky scene identical to the ones from previous tests. A flock of birds can be seen flying in the distance.
Notes: Of note is the fact that this is the forty-fifth test where SCP-XXXX has been made to face the window but SCP-XXXX-1 had not yet manifested. Containment protocol updated.

Concept Explanation
im including this here because i want to be able to translate this concept without having to really spell it out for critique reasons.
the skip was made as an entertainment device of sorts, an early virtual reality projector. I'm not sure if i want it to be sentient yet, but it/whoever made it has a preference for the sky (hence why its looking out a window).
SCP-XXXX event is an illusion projected by SCP-XXXX, a virtual reality simulation thats meant to "enhance" the experience of whatever you/the sculpture is watching. It CAN run out of ideas however so whenever that gets close SCP-XXXX-1 shows up.
SCP-XXXX-1 is the skips way of telling you to change the channel.
(im probably not going to touch this up ever, its my first scp i ever tried writing to im letting it stay around for nostalgia reasons)
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently contained in Site-██. Four guards are to be located outside of the containment cell at all times. All personnel in charge of the object must be screened for any history of abusive behaviour. SCP-XXXX does not require sustenance, and in the event of an attempted containment breach, guards are to point their firearms at the entity until it retreats to the back of its cell.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an entity superficially resembling an abnormally large white specimen of Panthera leo krugeri (Southeast African lion), although its head resembles that of an androgynous human of Egyptian descent. It has a head and body length of 464 cm and shoulder height of 233 cm. SCP-XXXX is capable of unhinging its jaw in much like a snake, although its mouth does have a full set of human teeth. SCP-XXXX is physiologically healthy but exhibits signs of past torture and mutilation, including declawing, removal of its left eye and tail, and crude alterations made to its throat, back, and genitalia. When inactive, SCP-XXXX will remain immobile and in an upright position, and will only react to hostile intent by retreating to the corner of its cell farthest from its assailant. SCP-XXXX may attempt to breach containment by hitting its front paws against the cell door following testing: this is to be expected and is assumed to be instinctual. SCP-XXXX does not appear to be sentient. See Addendums XXXX-1 and XXXX-2
SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties manifest whenever an individual with a history of abusive behaviour comes within three meters of the object, regardless of whether or not it is able to see them. SCP-XXXX will unhinge its jaw and stare at the target, hereby designated SCP-XXXX-1. Vocalisations can be heard coming from the object's mouth, although none of the sounds emitted match any known voice or language. SCP-XXXX-1 will show considerable signs of distress if it witnesses this display, and will be immobilised for an hour. SCP-XXXX-1 will not respond to any external stimuli during this period. If SCP-XXXX remains uninterrupted for twenty four to thirty two minutes, it will run towards SCP-XXXX-1 and swallow them whole. Up to thirty seconds after this procedure, SCP-XXXX will regurgitate SCP-XXXX-1 in the form of an infant and will promptly become disinterested with them, retreating to the back of its cell.
SCP-XXXX can be interrupted during this if twenty minutes pass without SCP-XXXX-1 taking notice of it or if it is threatened by another individual during this period, although SCP-XXXX will remain immobile and afraid until an hour has passed. Threatening or harming SCP-XXXX does not mark the person carrying out the acts as an "abuser". The object will only react to threats made by a human.
Addendum XXXX-1: On ██/██/████, SCP-XXXX stared directly at the security camera placed in its cell before blinking and moving its lips as though it was attempting to communicate. Dr. █████ entered the cell following this and began interacting with the object, although it had reverted to its default state. SCP-XXXX has begun blinking at regular intervals after this.
Addendum XXXX-2: (should i make this an incident log instead?) SCP-XXXX exhibited unusual reactions to containment procedures following testing on ██/██/████. SCP-XXXX attempted to breach containment as is expected of it, but upon being threatened by bladed weapons (as was requested by Dr.█████), SCP-XXXX's facial expression matched that of an extreme fear response before unhinging its jaw and screaming. While the scream had no perceivable anomalous effects, SCP-XXXX's body gained lifelike motion and it tackled one of the guards before it [DATA EXPUNGED]. SCP-XXXX was subdued after the remaining guards pointed their firearms at it. Guard-██ was admitted to intensive medical and psychological care following the incident and has been reassigned to SCP-████.
