Special Containment Procedures: Subject is to be contained in a 36”x48"x60" stainless steel avian cage with 3/4" to 1” bar spacing within it’s containment cell. SCP### has been provided with one portable radio, tuned to [REDACTED].1FM and adequate nourishment typically required of an animal of it’s assumed species.

SCP####’s is to be fitted with a device which is strapped around the subject’s head to dampen his transmissions and reduce them to short-distance radio signals during any human interaction. blueprints for the device are patented and were designed by Professor █████

Description: SCP#### is a 15-year-old Psittacus erithacus Congo African grey parrot. It is missing small portions of it’s chest plumage, the skin beneath is enflamed, with faint, reddish, fernlike patterns appearing across the creature’s breast.

SCP#### was retrieved from a wealthy family home in [REDACTED], a metropolitan city within the Democratic Republic of the Congo, following an investigation into the spontaneous internal combustion of a residential pet which SCP#### shared the home with; further analysis revealed that the dog had been essentially ‘cooked alive’ from the inside with microwave emissions, these emissions were sourced back to SCP#### after retrieval operation officer Harlow detected intense amounts of radiation being withheld within the subject’s body, yet, it was discovered; these incredible radiation levels seemed to have no adverse effects on the animal itself or the environment around it.
It possesses the general speech and motor skills of a four-to-five year old child, but has shown elevated communication and critical thinking skills. There have been cases of SCP-#### ‘Speaking’ through output of rapidly-changing radio signals which are then received through any electronic devices which are capable receiving or transmitting signals in the 27 MHz (11 m) band

DNA analysis has yet to be carried out, but it displays the sexually dimorphic colouration typical of males of it’s assumed species.

Subject is capable of Emitting, intercepting and converting EMR waves; SCP### was initially thought to only have control over small radiation frequencies, but has been since observed manipulating radio waves, microwaves, infrared, (visible) light, and gamma radiation. It was unknown whether SCP#### is aware of it’s destructive capabilities. However in an interview conducted on 12/10/12 The creature states it was angry at the family pet's constant harassment, but did not intend to harm it. This has lead to the investigation as to whether or not this ability is one SCP-#### can necessarily control, which may lead to a reconsideration of it's object class
