Description: SCP-XXXX is a leather-bound journal that contains approximately 280 pages. SCP-XXXX contains 34 hand-written poems in English employing a variety of poetic forms, but generally tending towards free verse. Individual poems are referred to as SCP-XXXX-X instances.

The primary anomalous effect of SCP-XXXX occurs when a human subject reads one poem from SCP-XXXX audibly. Shortly following the completion of the reading, the body of the subject will then demanifest completely. All objects worn or carried by the subject remain and have no anomalous properties. One additional poem will then be added to SCP-XXXX. Poems added in this manner are always titled with the full name of the subject, and the subject matter of the poems generally focus on significant events that occurred in the subject's life.

Notable SCP-XXXX-X instances are transcribed below.

SCP-XXXX-27,
"J█████ H████"
if you could put your life into words
if you could crush and simplify
the thoughtless aether-dust of memories
into words on a page

how would you look
if you were so utterly torn apart
into your basest components
J█████ H████ is
presumed to be the
author of SCP-XXXX
(see Addendum XXXXA).
SCP-XXXX-32 Poem text here! Other Notes
SCP-XXXX-33, "L██████ J████" The first time I watched her leave
was from the cracked window.

The second time I watched her leave
was out of the window,
her skirt catching on the imperfect glass.
Other Notes
SCP-XXXX-34, "Adam Moore" There was no tragedy here.
No nights pockmarked by sobs,
no days overlaid by quiet melancholy.

I have simply had long enough.
Not with a bang nor a whimper-
I will go with words.

I was,
and now I will not be.
