Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is an anomalous cognitohazard sewer located in Canada, Ontario at Site-14 near a park. Everything in 90 meters is considered SCP-XXXX's territory and is to be abandoned. SCP-XXXX's containment cell is 90 meters away from the entity, this prevents all personnel to avoid seeing hallucinations from SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXx's cell is shaped with an open square, and in the middle lays SCP-XXXX. A diagram of SCP-XXXX's containment cell is shown to the left. This radius is so large to insure maximum safety.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a sewer with the dimensions for the grate being about 32.2cm wide and approximately 5 cm thick. SCP-XXXX is able to "communicate" with its subjects while being harmful to an extent. (i.e SCP-XXXX will make subjects who heard the response go into a psychotic mental state, subjects will then behave strangely and tend to accomplish their task of committing ██████ after visitation with SCP-XXXX. After experiencing the response from SCP-XXXX whoever had the encounter must designate 90 meters away from the entity or their lives will be taken by ██████ in an amount of time relying on their mental health stability before the experience. At within 25 feet of eye contact with SCP-XXXX, subjects report seeing fingers/hands appear at the ground surface. SCP-XXXX can lose personnel in its drainage pipes, It is not known what the dimensions are.
It seems until not notified that this is harmless and it lasts for 5 minutes, they may do anything possible to ████ themselves. The kids luckily ran far to their home upon discovery leaving without a scratch, physically and mentally. In some occasions, the water may flow at high speeds, In that case, SCP-XXXX takes several minutes to respond. It's a one and 7 chance it will actually answer your question. What is doing the banging is unknown and the reason for its banging is forever unknown due to the limited abilities researchers have when working with SCP-XXXX. 0 subjects were harmed in the process of SCP-XXXX's discovery.
One (1) class-D is to enter from the main sewer opening. The class-D is supplied with food, water, blankets and a rope holding them from the main sewer grate. All subjects released previously to the interior of SCP-XXXX have recently shown no signs of torture, returning or harm. To communicate from the ground area subjects use, One bang = No and Two Bangs, is yes, occasionally SCP-XXXX will bang 3 times which is a rare occurrence. The meaning for 3 bangs is unknown, but may be considered a response meaning "I don't know." Personnel is allowed to drop items into the sewer. Items m ay disappear in approximately 5 seconds with no sound performed in the action. It still remains unknown where the items have gone.

Addendum: UPON DISCOVERY
SCP-XXXX was discovered when three (3) kids stomped on a sewer grate near a park. They started to talk after and about a quarter into their conversation a big bang came from underneath. In the next 3 days, they then returned to the same location, expecting the same result from last time, and receiving the same result from the previous time. after the banging of the entity stopped, they reported hearing very slight bangs after. They said they were in great condition but also say it was traumatizing.
