Blixmery's Warehouse of Drafts

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: Because of SCP-XXXX's immobility, the anomalous site is to remain in its current location in the outskirts of Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The building shall remain standing and maintain the appearance of abandonment. Security personnel with a Level 3 clearance should be stationed within the building at all times, with shift changes every 6 hours. Security personnel with a Level 2 Clearance should be stationed and disguised as private security outside the warehouse. At least four medical staff are to remain on standby within the premise. Interaction with SCP-XXXX for research purposes is currently restricted due to short-distant proximity with Scottsbluff.

An exclusion zone has been put around the warehouse within a 4-kilometer radius. A functional electrical fence must remain standing within the 3-kilometer radius mark and remain active 24/7. Non-Foundation individuals within the 4-kilometer radius mark must be warned and told to leave the premise under the justification of "private property". Security personnel are authorized to terminate the individual after a maximum of 3 warnings. Any individual attempting to intrude onto the property may be terminated or knocked-out and administered amnestics under security adviser discretion.

During nightly hours, lights are to remain off on the main floor of the warehouse. The two floors beneath the warehouse may remain operational with lights on 24/7. Noise is to be kept to a minimal level and at least one Mobile Task Force squad must be dispatched and kept on standby. Any on-site personnel suffering from severe or fatal injuries will be referred to the on-site medical team and placed on medical leave once they've been released from medical custody.

No personnel are to go past the 50 meter mark in the hallway. In the scenario that an individual must exit the hallway immediately, they are to be instructed to slowly walk backwards until they have successfully exited SCP-XXXX-1.

Recreation of the SCP-XXXX-1, "The Hallway"

Description: SCP-XXXX is a phenomenon that has manifested in a long-standing, abandoned warehouse in one of its corridors, designated SCP-XXXX-1. Both SCP-XXXX and its instance remained dormant after manifestation for what is estimated to be 34 years after manifestation. Police intrusion onto the property after reports of suspicious activity led to its discovery. Authorities tasked with the intrusion have been administered amnestics and returned to duty or taken into Foundation custody for medical and long-term psychological treatment.

SCP-XXXX's anomalous effects on the human health cannot be detected within the first 10 minutes of exposure. Past that time constraint, the effects begin to intensify and become abnormally apparent. Much of SCP-XXXX's effects are mainly psychological. When an individual is exposed to its effects, they will begin to suffer from auditory hallucinations. These auditory hallucinations will begin reciting every morally-questionable action that the individual has done. Interviews with test subjects who've been exposed to SCP-XXXX have admitted to carrying out these actions knowingly and aware of its consequences. These effects have caused mental distress and trauma as well as major mood swings. Some subjects have developed a variety of depressions from exposure to SCP-XXXX.

This phenomenon that affects the many exposed to it has manifested into a hallway located in the back sector of the building, designated SCP-XXXX-1. Pictures taken before SCP-XXXX's manifestation have shown a brick-walled hallway with a fire exit. SCP-XXXX's manifestation of the area have caused major physical changes. The brick-walls have been stained with a blood-like substance that has proven to be corrosive and toxic to organic substances. Several doors can be located to the left side, each which lead to rooms that model events an individual has done wrong or regrets doing in their lifetime. Lights have been hung on the opposite wall.

Upon further testing and observations, anomalous effects grow more powerful and intensify the more the subject nears towards the end of the hallway. Auditory hallucinations will be heard more frequently at a higher decibel . Stress appears to increase within the back portion of the individual's brain. The individual will suffer from headaches and mild migraines. Heart rate begins to increase as they near the end of the hallway, increasing by 1-5 BPM per every 30 meters moved closer. Vision may be affected during this stage, such as blurred sight or obstructed sight by an unknown object. Some report seeing a "familiar figure" that stand towards the end of the hallway.

Past the 50 meter mark of the hallway lies the exit. Almost all subjects become deceased as they near or reach that distance. Subjects who've been instructed to enter through the exit that have survived have never returned. Attempts to send subjects and personnel through the exit have failed, as microphones and cameras equipped on the individual entering have always failed to function as intended. Despite this major setback, items have been shown being thrown out of the doorway. Some of these items have provided valuable information and are still active and used (see Addendum-XXXX-C).
