Containment Procedures: SCP-2.0 is to be kept in a standard 1.5 meter containment cell.
SCP 2.0 is a bunch of 11 Cavendish variety bananas. (Because of testing purposes, 7 remain.) Each of the Bananas are completely resistant to decay, and are still ripe after 2 weeks without refrigeration. When one is ingested, The Subject flesh will (over the course of 5 hours) transform into the insides of SCP-2.0, while the subjects skin will convert into SCP-2.0’s peel. SCP-2.0 was first discovered when a 20 year old Norwegian man went shopping for food items at a local store. Subject went home and picked a banana from the bunch, which he then ingested. Subject was found 6 days later when a door to door salesman looked through subjects window. Foundation arrived and gave witnesses class B amnesiacs. Personnel then investigated and purchased all bananas from the store, none of which had any anomalous effects. At the time of writing, Investigation is still ongoing.
Experiment 1 Log: D class personnel consumes one banana.
Hour 1: No effects.
Hour 2: Subjects Skin turns a pale shade of yellow.
Hour 3: Subjects Skin turns a more saturated shade of yellow. A small stem grows from subjects head.
Hour 4: Subjects skin becomes the same colour as SCP-2.0 peel. The stem grows larger. Movement decreases and slows.
5: Movement ceases. Stem grows to its full size. Peel is peeled back revealing a human shaped mass of banana.
