Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4562 is to remain in its sheath at all times, locked within a high security, temperature controlled, Weapons Vault, at 0° Celsius.
Contained on site. Contact with any part of the Katana is prohibited.
SCP-4562 does not require maintenance, or care, as it has shown the ability to regenerate, and clean itself.

Description: SCP-4562, also known as the "God Blade of Blood" is an abnormally long Katana, approximately 106-centemeters long, with a blade length of 73-centemeters, the Entirety of the Tsuka, is also black. Unlike normal Katana's, the blade of SCP-4562 is black, which other than its length, is it's only 2 distinguishing features. SCP-4562 is contained within its solid black sheath.
SCP-4562 has been observed to be capable of minor-to-major Mental Suggestion, and Manipulation of both Low, and High Intellect Individuals. This has most commonly been in attempts to remove the blade from its containment.
Other testing upon SCP-4562, before suspension of testing, has shown it has the ability to regenerate any part of itself. Testing has also shown blood commonly leaks from the sheath when the blade is within it. The amount of blood leakage can vary, from very minor, to creating puddles in the containment room. The blood the sheath secretes appears to also be unaffected by temperature, incapable of evaporation, or freezing.
SCP-4562 is capable of cutting any material with a single swing, on one occasion, SCP-4562 was shown capable of cutting one's soul without harming the body.
It is believed that SCP-45621 is an incomplete entity that requires a host to properly release its unrestricted abilities.
