Description:
SCP-5743 is a drug called osteodendrite that causes abnormal dental growth, beginning from the mouth and eventually spreading to other areas of the face. This state of SCP-5743-1 is called ossification syndrome, or “OS” for short, also nicknamed “skips.”
One forum post describes the user’s first time using the drug. Effects include animal-like behavior followed by loss of consciousness. (See Log-5743-1)
Many of these users have fetishized the concept of ossification syndrome, usually in the form of roleplay in which one is keeping the other hostage as a test subject and giving them gradual doses of the drug. This kink is referred to as "Dental Expansion Fantasy," or "DE Fantasy."
Addendum: Public knowledge of SCP-5743 has since been covered up with false news suggesting a different cause of its effects on people.

took some skips (i think) last month and it sucked major ass.
started with me and my boy turd just chilling and keeping it real you know how it is. then i see this bag of pills and im like 'hey man this yours' and hes like 'nah brah’ but i figure hey my bro turd is always pranking on me so i get the idea to take like a handful of them (about 3x what youd normally take on accounts of my hella strong drugs tolerance yo) and turd thinks its the funniest shit. so we're just hanging watching tosh and then i wake up and everything is really fuzzy and im crawling on my hands and knees. turd flipped his shit but i told him its just the drugs and im just gonna ride out this trip.
he looks at me all terrified like and tells me ive been crawling around on all fours like a wild animal. ive been at it for like 2 hours and he just kinda got use to it. its about this time that i realize that im missing all this time and acting like an animal and its just like the skips they talk about on the news. and im like, ‘hey turd, whered you get skips, youre not even an immigrant.’ and hes like ‘hahahaha what bro.’ long story short i black out again and act like an animal for like a week. now i know why they call it skips.
i eventually lost track of time. id become lucid enough for about 15 minutes and then be in a fugue state for another day or two. according to turd i was acting like a wild animal, like a racoon or something. all baring teeth and growling. but the weirdest thing was, it also made me obedient. this shits no joke, you will do whatever youre told. turd took some funny videos of me doing some funny and gay shit but besides that he kept me eating and going ok thank god for BROS FOR LIFE
the news is right about the tooth growth. its mostly in the mouth area. id wake up less and less able to close my mouth or control my jaw. ended up with a tooth formation in my jaw the size of a baseball that they needed to shave down. ended up at the hospital and im still eating apple sauce from a straw. be careful out there my friends. im not doing skips again ever but i still got this damn bag of these pills
