The Fifth Child of the Sharkic Overlord

Terror of the Deep, PtP-59101,12 Grand Sharkist Keith, Cultmaster of the Fifth Uprising

Conspectus

The Fifth Child of the Sharkic Overlord is, for lack of a better term, a beast. Its mind, body, and soul are all but ravaged by the very flesh craft used by the Sharkic following.3 The Selachian's Hand was, for a short time, enlisted to help the Fifth Child in the fight against the group know as the "Shark Punching Centre". This event came down to the Third Sharkic Wars.

Relations between the Sharkics and the Hand dwindled before the War, when our methods were different from one another. Ours being more about passing laws that suppressed the Centre and their affairs. Theirs being more direct and assaulting anything that wore the insignia of the SPC. Since the arrival of the Fifth Child, the Hand and the Sharkics have set aside the differences between us to fight our one common enemy: the Shark Punching Centre.

Knowledge

Traits: The Fifth Child's appearance is like that of the Innsmouthers of one H.P Lovecraft's books on steroids with the mindlessness of a savage beast. His Deviant abilities rely on brute strength, but has been noticed that his adaptability to various combat scenarios is greater than that of a military academy ace who passed every test known to man.

Nature: The Fifth Child has a tendency to avoid social interactions. In a way, acting like a scared child. Has shown to be aggressive whenever talking with anyone from dryland. He has also shown to be unforgiving whenever one of his number broke the Sharkic code and has been seen to munch, crunch, and mulch on them whenever they have failed. The Sharkics are unusual normally but the Fifth Uprising lot are abnormally calm when they hear that its their punishment.

History & Associated Parties: The Fifth Child first appeared after the Second Sharkic War, most notably after the Unnamed Puncher upper-cutted the Grand Sharkist of the War during the Calypso Cataclysm Combat. According to insiders in the Centre, reports of a new Grand Sharkist was heard but because the last Grand Sharkist died, they thought it was a Sharkic ploy to lure out and take out the Punchers for revenge.

When the Grand Sharkist rose to power within the Cult, the attacks had been less frequent. The Sharkic Cult was simply bidding their time, according to diplomats of the Fifth Child. When the diplomats first arrived to the submersible Hand HQ Wanderer's Pool, they had insisted that they had the backing of Prometheus Laboratories45678 and the minor Sharkic Cults found in Atlantos, Western Atlantic Ocean.

The Hand joined the Sharkics afterwards. For official records on the War, please refer to Aisle-03 for more information and understanding on these events.

Current Custodian: N/A, as the Fifth Child has not been seen since the West Coast Conflict. Efforts to recover the corpse is ongoing.

Approach: Hello! This is Sister Louise, or as you may have seen in our notes, S.L.

As this list can only be filled in by someone who was close to the Fifth Child, I feel like I should fill in that role. So the first thing you do when and if you meet the Fifth Child is to not mention you're from the surface. You do this, say goodbye to your head. The second thing is that the Fifth Child is an honourable man. For this reason, one should never mention magic in his presence. He finds the use of magic to be dishonourable in the name of combat, rather letting the fists doing the talking. I wonder if this was an SPC runaway or not.910

Which reminds me, one must never mention the Centre's name near him. This goes to all Sharkics but the Centre's name sends the Fifth Child into a fit of rage.

I think one more thing we should note is that he is also very shy when it comes to non-sharkic entities, so do not force a conversation onto him unless he wishes to converse. Follow these steps and you may leave the Fifth Cult with your head intact.

Observations & Stories

Hello. For clarity sake, I am P.L. Unlike our dear Sister, I wish to maintain my pseudonym so lets leave it at that. I work for Prometheus Labs in our reality and I can honestly say that the Fifth Child (or as we here in my labs called him, Grand Sharkist Keith) was not a pleasant individual to work with. My assistant's corpse can attest to that. We're still trying to pick up the limbs scattered around the seafloor.

But he has also proven to be more of a challenge to the Centre and their expert Punchers. Time and time again, he appeared to be the victor against the Punchers. When the Centre deployed Deviant tech, however, it was clear that the Sharkics were going to lose the war. I had to pull out my research team and cancel any projects that was in development for the Sharkics.

At least the Selachian's Hand got out when they did. Glad to know I'm not the only sane being on this planet that sees the Punchers as a threat to all sharks.

Doubt

This information has come from numerous sources. Sister Louise spent much time around the Fifth Child during the War and so her writing could be influenced by emotion. If this information has been proven to be less factual, then forgive her for she is still new to this. Once more, the observation made by Dr. Prometheus could once more be less factual, allowing feelings into his writings,

What must also be taken into account is that this information is one sided. While true, we are here for the sharks, we are also the Watchers. We maintain records to ensure that information, whether good or bad, is for all to see. Sadly, even our informants and insiders within the Centre refuse to hand over official documentation on the War for us to catalogue.

As for the doubts about the Fifth Child… well, we understand that the Child is nothing more than a brainless leader in all things non-Centre related. Which is concerning, seeing as how his mind was able to switch from that of child to a fierce warrior.

Even if he is gone, I fear that someone - be it from some other group or someone within the ranks of the Centre - would be much worse for the many moons to come.
