Footage from Exploration Log XXXX-█

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is contained at its location of discovery. Civilians are to be restricted access to SCP-XXXX under the pretense of maintenance. Entrance to SCP-XXXX is to be guarded by at least two (2) armed personnel with antimemetic training at all times. Personnel may restrain or amnestize any civilians approaching SCP-XXXX when deemed necessary.

Foundation web-crawler B7890a (“WINCHESTER”) has been set to monitor for all advertisements or mentions of SCP-XXXX. No visual media produced by SCP-XXXX, nor the full written name of the hotel is to be viewed.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an extradimensional hotel located in ████████, █████. SCP-XXXX’s exterior takes an appearance of a semi-dilapidated 6-story building, composed of exposed concrete and blacked-out windows. Its interior lobby, however, is an identical copy of ██████████ Hotel, located in Bangkok, Thailand.

Any visual media pertaining to SCP-XXXX or any mention of the hotel’s name induces a memetic effect to its recipient that compels individuals to then seek residence at the estate. This effect ceases 24 hours after viewing. Amnestics has also proved to be effective in relieving the memetic effect. On the contrary, the building itself produces a mild antimemetic effect, causing any civilians or personnel with no antimemetic training to simply ignore that there is, in fact, an entrance to the building. However, those who were exposed to any visual media or the full name of the hotel seems to be immune to the antimemetic effect.

Individuals who enter the estate through the front gate will begin to perceive another individual (hereafter designated SCP-XXX-1). SCP-XXXX-1 usually takes form of a Caucasian male in its 30's. SCP-XXXX-1 will then provide a key card to the person of entry, then guide them to the primary elevator. The primary elevator contains only one button. Any individuals who has entered the elevator and pressed the button is assumed lost.

The resulting floor contains an extradimensional corridor (current accounted length: 3km) that contains elevators in places that would normally contain a hotel room. The actual hotel rooms are extremely sporadic, and is normally overtaken by appliances typically seen in elevator structures. The number of buttons inside the elevators usually exceed that of 1000. The floor numbers are largely inconsistent over all of the elevators; currently, the highest number recorded was 6████████.

No further exploration is to be made past ██/08/18 per Site Director's request.

Addendum: On ██/07/18, a bag, presumed to have belonged to D-26821, materialized in front of the gate. Inside contained a knife, a sample of the elevator cable, rations, and a note:

Lost luggage

Testing of the cable sample revealed it to have 99% match to human DNA.
