Item #: SCP-1109
Object Class: Euclid Safe
Special Containment Procedures: [TODO]
Description: SCP-1109 appears to be a sentient, humanoid being composed of white flames with a single cavity in its chest. The 'flames' that SCP-1109 appears to be composed of do not emit any heat, and will not spread to or burn any flammable objects. SCP-1109 is able to maintain its 'burning' appearance in all environments and temperatures, and is unaffected by any standard methods of fire suppression.
SCP-1109 holds immense telekinetic power, capable of levitating itself and objects within a 10 meter radius weighing up to [TODO] and can propel them at supersonic speeds. While it is unknown if SCP-1109 is able to speak verbally, SCP-1109 is able to telepathically communicate with other life forms within a 10 meter radius. All researchers consistently describe SCP-1109's telepathic voice as calm, ghostly, and masculine.
SCP-1109 has proven to be very curious and passive in nature, and will only attack if provoked. SCP-1109 has demonstrated a large desire to learn more about humans and other anomalies, as well as teach others about its origins. SCP-1109 has been cooperative with Foundation personnel since recovery. It has willingly demonstrated its telekinetic and telepathic abilities, but has refused to describe how they are performed.
and a clear understanding of the
power SCP personnel hold, that which is little.
Because of this understanding SCP-1109 shows no fear when in contact with SCP personnel. However even with its clear knowledge and power, SCP-1109 has never harmed a human.

Item #: SCP-4832
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Due to its nature, SCP-4832 is unable to be directly contained. However, established preventative methods have proved sufficient enough to not warrant a Keter classification.
A modified version of the Foundation webcrawler I/O BEHOLDER and Mobile Task Force Mu-4 ("Debuggers") will monitor all journalism websites for new instances of SCP-4832. Detected instances are to be removed immediately via pre-installed Foundation scrubbing software.
Should preventative methods fail, Mobile Task Force Gamma-5 ("Red Herrings") are to locate and treat affected individuals according to their infection level. Stage 1 through 3 subjects are to be administered Class-B amnestics, released, and monitored for further activity. Stage 4 subjects are to be administered Class-A amnestics before being released. Stage 5 subjects are to be contained in Humanoid Containment Site-88. Any and all devices utilizing electricity must be kept out of eyesight and earshot of Stage 5 individuals.
Description: SCP-4832 is a series of cognitohazardous online journalism articles located at URL [REDACTED] detailing various threats and dangers that modern technology pose toward humanity's safety and privacy.
Instances of SCP-4832 are encountered through advertisements on other websites and through email. The contents of the advertisements and emails vary, but all instances contain a link to an instance of SCP-4832 and are written in a clickbait fashion.
Individuals who follow a link to an instance of SCP-4382 are immediately subject to its effects, which will increase in severity if [TODO].
SCP-4832's effects manifest in five different stages. See Document #4832-I for all recorded stages of SCP-4832 and their effects.
Amnestics have varying results, depending on how much of SCP-4832 the subject has read.
Attempts to trace the origin and author/authors of SCP-4832 have been unsuccessful as there is no credit given to the author/authors, and attempts to trace the IP address of host servers for SCP-4832 instances have all resolved in a 404 "not found" error.
Stage 1
Once exposed to SCP-4832, subjects will display more cautious behavior when nearby various forms of technology, mostly computers, cameras, microphones, and cellular phones. The effects of SCP-4832 during Stage 1 are minuscule, and cannot be differentiated from non-anomalous individuals who are cautious around technology.
Stage 2
Individuals who have read 25-50% are infected with Stage 2. Stage 2 individuals will refuse to use and will often discard any forms of technology affected during Stage 1.
Stage 3
Individuals who have read more than 50% are infected with Stage 3. Stage 3 individuals will subscribe to SCP-4832's newsletter (delivered by mail), immediately followed by beginning to discard any forms of technology that are not necessary for their personal well-being, as well as promoting physical instances of SCP-4832 to others.
Forms of technology that Stage 3 individuals will not discard include, but are not limited to air conditioning and heating units,
Stage 4
Individuals who have read the entirety of a single instance of SCP-4832 are infected with Stage 4. Stage 4 individuals will begin to actively search for non-essential forms of technology and attempt to disable or destroy them. This often leads to multiple criminal charges pressed against the subjects.
[make some record of people vandalizing computer stores and posting SCP-4832 all over the store, spreading it massively]
Stage 5
Individuals who have read multiple instances of SCP-4832 are infected with Stage 5. Stage 5 individuals will attempt to destroy any devices utilizing electricity upon eye contact.
[TODO]
- Hardware components spontaneously overheating igniting
- Audio devices suddenly increasing in volume by approximately 120 decibels, causing permanent hearing damage
- Devices with screens displaying cognitohazardous and infohazardous material
- Automated doors closing rapidly while subject is in doorway
Interviewed: Mrs. Karen ███████
Interviewer: Dr. Josh Ames
Foreword: Mrs. ███████ is the first recorded individual to reach a Stage 5 infection. She came into Foundation custody after she was arrested at [REDACTED] for destroying multiple products at a local computer shop with a hammer.
