Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX should be kept in a normal containment cell. The temperature of the containment cell at all times should never rise above 22 C (72 F). SCP-XXXX should never be consumed unless for testing.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a conventional stick of butter which lies inside of a transparent glass container. After a section of SCP-XXXX is removed for consumption the section will regenerate after a period of one-hundred (100) seconds.

When SCP-XXXX is consumed by a human without being added as an ingredient to a food dish, it will cause the subject which has consumed it to have a decrease of function within the Gustatory Complex of the brain which subsequently causes a loss of the sensation of taste. This affect of SCP-XXXX is unknown in length because of the lack of long term subjects due to the monthly change of D-Class personnel.

When SCP-XXXX is baked/cooked into a dish it will cause the subject who consumes the anomaly to have a desire to continuously make and consume the original dish in which SCP-XXXX had been baked/cooked into. If the subject does not have the correct materials to cook the original dish they will go to to any lengths possible to attain the materials needed to cook the dish. Will occasionally lead to death if subject attempts to use the force of their body to escape containment to search for necessary materials.

If subject affected by SCP-XXXX has the necessary materials to make the dish that SCP-XXXX was original combined with, the subject will continuously make and eat the dish to the point of vomiting. This process continues until the subject dies from exhaustion.

Procedure: D-5799 is given the instructions to bake a chocolate cake with the following materials

• SCP-XXXX
• Pan
• Mixing spoon
• Measuring cups
• Oven
• Flour
• Cocoa powder
• Baking powder and soda
• Salt
• Sugar
• Vanilla extract
• Eggs
• Water

Results: D-5799 fails to make a cake due to inexperience in baking

Analysis: With future experiments with SCP-XXXX make sure to have D-Class that have experience in cooking or baking
