Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard containment locker at Site-XX. Tablets composed of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be kept in their respective tablet sheets and a certain amount is only to be removed during testing. The minimum security clearance to access SCP-XXXX is level 4.

As of 2/6/2021, any and all testing with SCP-XXXX-1 has been halted due to a currently limited amount of the substance, with no known means of obtaining or manufacturing it. Without special orders from site overseer Dr. Dalloway or the O5 council, these circumstances will remain unchanged.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a pack of prescription medication with the brand name "Zopitin" containing an information sheet and two tablet sheets, both having initially contained 10 tablets. The outer cardboard box, the information sheet, and the tablet sheets are non-anomalous. SCP-XXXX contains 11 tablets out of 20 as of 16/5/2021.

The cardboard container and tablet sheets, as well as the appearance of the tablets, are considered to be up to professional manufacturing standards. Compared to non-anomalous instances of the same medication boxes, SCP-XXXX is identical. SCP-XXXX was presumably sold in a pharmaceutical market, however, its true origins are currently unknown.

SCP-XXXX-1 is an anomalous chemical compound that is present in the tablets contained within SCP-XXXX. Prior to chemical test results (see Addendum-X), the compound SCP-XXXX-1 was completely unknown to the foundation. Tablets contained in SCP-XXXX are coated with a thin gelatin capsule. Within the gelatinous shell is SCP-XXXX-1, in place of the advertised compound zopiclone. No information within SCP-XXXX addresses this substance, as the entirety of SCP-XXXX except for the tablets is identical to manufactured, unordinary instances of it.

When a human ingests the substance SCP-XXXX-1 orally, they will fall into a state of deep sleep in approximately 20 minutes. In this state, they will experience and live an entire human life from the perspective of someone else, from birth until just before death. The subjects have claimed that they lived for years and perceived all passing time accordingly, although all subjects have been recorded to be in this state of sleep for under 9 hours.

All former memories of the subject are overwritten by the memories retained from the life experienced while asleep. The subjects are often distressed and confused upon waking up.
