Special Containment Procedures:
SCP XXXX is to be placed in a standard anomalous object containment cell in Site-()(). In addition, Foundation personnel are to monitor the area outside of Dr. Asimov’s previous dwellings, Street ())()()()()()()()()()()(, Boston, Massachusets
Any anomalous activity believed to be related to SCP XXXX should be reported to Dr. Carter, the current overseer of SCP XXXX and its facets.
Description:
SCP XXXX is an anomalous handheld machine capable of manipulating space-time. SCP XXXX’s exact origin and time of creation are unkown, though it was acquired by Dr. Asimov on October 12, 19()() (See more about SCP XXXX’s acquisition in Incident Log XXXX-1).
SCP XXXX is cuboid in shape, composed of an unidentified metal alloy. It has several irregularly-shaped segments that jut out from the main body, and contains a screen on one of its faces which continuously displays a stream of information only partially understandable to Foundation researchers. When either the screen or metal protrusions are touched, SCP XXXX's vast array of reality-bending abilities will activate; ranging from time manipulation to extreme chemical transformations, which should not be possible given modern understanding of physics and matter. The mechanics of SCP XXXX’s operation are not well understood, and following the events of Incident Log XXXX-2, all further testing of SCP XXXX has been suspended.
SCP XXXX-1 is a humanoid entity who appeared during the acquisition of SCP XXXX. According to reports, it wore a form of military apparel with a modified foundation logo on its sleeve, claiming itself to be Dr. Robert Carter, who, at the time of the incident, was not a member of the Foundation.
Incident Log XXXX-1: Acquision:
Interviewed: [Dr. Isaac Asimov]
Interviewer: [Dr. {}{}{} Rodriguez]
Foreword: [On October 14, 19{}{}, Dr. Asimov encountered SCP XXXX-1 outside his home at approximately 6:30 am. SCP XXXX-1 materialized with a bright light and ran over to Dr. Asimov, who was coming out to get the morning newspaper. It gave Dr. Asimov SCP XXXX and instructed him to await the arrival of another entity. SCP XXXX-1 then ran, on foot, into Boston city, where embedded Foundation agents failed to locate it. SCP XXXX-1 is believed to still be at large, but has not been cited since. Following the incident, Dr. Asimov reported to Site {}{} with SCP XXXX and gave the following interview from which this report was derived:
<Begin Log, [October 14, 3: 35pm, 19{}{}]>
Rodriguez: [Dr, you know the drill, name for the log, please]
Asimov: [Isaac Asimov]
Rodriguez: [Alright then, you want to give me a recap of what happened to you, how you got that machine, er, that is to say, anomalous device]
Asimov: [ I woke up like normal, nothing was strange, felt fine until I stepped outside. I heard a loud… noise, a rumbling noise. I looked around for the source and got my retina's scorched out of my head. Thought someone was waving a flashlight in my face. Next thing I know some man in a bulletproof vest walks up to me and pushes the object, the box, into my hands. Then, the fucker just starts running. He yells something like, "Watch and wait, Dr, he'll be here soon"]
Rodriguez: [Right. From what I heard you say to the guy in the waiting room, he had a Foundation patch on him.]
Asimov: [He was white and bald, looked like he was around 40, I think. I'm a bit fuzzy. He was saying something when he first showed up, while I was blinded by the light, but I don't know what. I think he may have set off a flashbang, or something]
Rodriguez: [Alright… So he didn't say anything about the device, or who you should wait for]
>
Asimov [No]Rodriguez [And about the machine, specifically, did you notice anything about it, any strange characteristics or events]
Asimov: [Not really, when he first handed it to me it felt warm, like when you overheat a motor, but I didn't know what it was or what it did, I was paranoid. I've been at this a long time, you know. I've seen the shit that can happen if you're not carefulRodriguez: [Easy there, I'm not criticizing, just trying to get the lay of the land, so to speak. I'm the one that's gonna have to deal with all this bullshit, so I want to know what exactly it is I'm dealing with. This interview is now over, you can go report to Pysch now and get evaluated]
Asimov: [Sorry]
<End Log, [optional time info]>
Closing Statement: [Dr. Asimov was not found to have any psychological or physical effects related to the incident, and was deemed healthy enough to resume work. A small task force was created to monitor the area in front of Dr. Asimov's dwelling, where the incident had occurred, for signs of further anomalous phenominon]
