Item #: SCP-5314
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: WIP
Description: SCP-5314 is a vehicular object that resembles a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser GT. Despite 5314's many documented collisions, it remains in pristine condition with no external scratches or dents. As it exists currently, 5314's exterior is painted maroon. In its first documented appearance, the exterior of 5314 was painted black with yellow-to-red gradient flames painted along 5314's sides and hood. It is noted that here, 5314 sported a rear spoiler and LED lights attached to its underside. These features are not present in its future appearances. In its next documented appearance, 5314 was silver, with wood-paneling on its doors and trunk. For its third and final documented public appearance, 5314 appeared as its current iteration. It is unknown, who, if anyone, made the modifications to 5314's exterior. 5314's interior is the factory-standard, slate gray leather of the GT model it bears likeness to. Each of 5314's documented appearances correspond to a different license plate attached to the rear - a Arkansas license plate with the letters "BRZRK", a Missouri license plate with the alphanumeric combination of "w247h," and a Kansas license plate with the numbers "18 21 14." The Foundation has not been able to successfully track the license plate designations with any known vehicular departments. 5314's speaker system only plays music of the "harsh noise" genre. The music plays constantly and the only way to silence it is to turn down 5314's volume
SCP-5314's primary anomalous effect applies to the object itself. 5314 is seemingly indestructible, sustaining no structural damage regardless of the force exerted on it. 5314's breaking of Newtonian Laws is only partial. While no force exerted on it seems to be able to destroy, its own force exerted upon an object is still limited to the forces that can be achieved by a standard PT Cruiser GT. For example, if SCP-5314 is traveling at top speed towards a rock face, while the impact is not able to destroy 5314, [5314] likewise won't be able to travel through the rock. [This said], if a PT Cruiser GT can feasibly travel through or destroy an another object, then 5314 can as well, uninhibited by the opposing object's force in any noticeable way. 5314's imperviousness doesn't extend to its license plates, which have been damaged through lab tests.
SCP-5314 exhibits another anomalous effect, this one acting on humans and not the object itself. When a person drives SCP-5314, they soon become highly enraged. The time it takes for a driver to become enraged varies — 5314's third known driver became enraged in a matter of minutes, while the first drove 5314 at least twice before driving it a third time and becoming enraged in >120 minutes. When enraged, the driver will crash into vehicles, structures, and pedestrians with reckless abandon, utilizing 5314's primary anomalous effect to go unhindered as they cause destruction. In this state, the driver invariably turns the volume to its maximum setting. In this state, the driver does not appear to tire and will refuse to exit the vehicle. Seemingly, the only way to remove them is by pulling them out or by killing them. If a conscious driver is successfully extracted from 5314, they will exhibit short-term memory loss, with no recollection of their actions while enraged. If a driver fails to be extracted, it is currently unknown what happens to them. In each appearance except for the last, the driver left the quad-state area and were unable to be tracked. Upon 5314's reappearance, there would be no traces of its previous driver.
Despite possessing a gas cap door and a fuel tank, it has been determined, based on observing how far and fast it traveled during its final public appearance, that 5314 does not require gasoline to achieve propulsion.
SCP-5314's public appearances are [as follows]:
On 14-10-2005 in ███████, Arkansas, local seventeen year-old high school student Brett █████ bought 5314 from a car dealership. There are no records of the purchase in the dealership records and no employee working at the establishment at the time had any recollection of the purchase. Brett █████ drove SCP-5314 at least thrice prior to the incident: once to drive back home from the dealership, once the next day to drive to school, then once [a few hours] later to return home. Brett █████ had drove [twenty-three] miles prior to the event. It was reported that Brett █████ appeared increasingly agitated after each [drive], but it cannot be determined if this behavior was due to 5314's anomalous properties. At around 7:13 (GMT-5), Brett █████ began driving 5314 to attend his high school's homecoming sporting event.
-Second event, most unknown in terms of background, despite monitoring; happened faitly suddenly. Broad daylight with a huge death toll and anamalous activity easily seen. Big coverup-
