Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is considered impossible to contain as the Foundation does not currently contain the technology to observe the anomaly closer. Under Procedure Messier-XB025, Foundation agents and researchers are currently looking for any possible way to nullify its effects. Fake space launchings under various space agencies are to be continued to provide cover from the public eye.

Under this, no person, civilian or otherwise is authorized to pass the Schlachter Line¹ located in Earth's Atmosphere. Description: SCP-XXXX is a star known as At this time, it is considered that the anomaly only exists within our solar system and around it. There is no evidence to support that this exists in other galaxies. The first anomaly designated SCP-XXXX-1 was discovered on 4/25/████, by the late Dr. Schlachter as he worked on the International Space Station in 20██. Schlachter theorized that this anomaly slows down anything that passes through it causing things such as light to slow down in speed.

SCP-XXXX-1 (Originally designated SCP-XXXX) was discovered by Schlachter when he was working for the ████████ █████ ██████ as a scientist on the International Space Station. Schlachter noticed that light coming from other stars and seemed to slow down drastically as it approached the solar system.
