SCP-XXXX-3

rating: 0+x

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: All instances of SCP-XXXX must be made to have as limited an effect as is possible within Twitter and the rest of the internet. Users must be dissuaded from researching SCP-XXXX or observing its manifestations. In addition, it is important that the creator of SCP-XXXX is found and detained as soon as possible, in order to stop the production of more instances of SCP-XXXX, as well as to gain information about the nature of SCP-XXXX.

All attempts so far to delete SCP-XXXX from Twitter or block it via a firewall have proved unsuccessful. The only current method of limiting the spread of SCP-XXXX is by partial containment, blocking about 30% of user access to SCP-XXXX.

Although all mentally sound Foundation personnel are free to view these videos for research purposes, please be aware that the extent to which it's memetic effects are powerful is yet to be uncovered, hence the Keter classification. Because of this, Class D personnel are to test the waters with each new video produced before it is to be released to the rest of the personnel.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a series of short videos posted by Twitter user "@IFunniMichael". The videos typically feature some alteration of the internet meme known commonly as "doge." Very often, the subject of the video changes in some fashion, typically showing great distortion and presenting imagery that is much more abnormal than it is to begin with. There are currently eight (8) distinct manifestations of SCP-XXXX (SCP-XXXX-1 - SCP-XXXX-8), contained within 8 videos (SCP-XXXX-A - SCP-XXXX-B). Most instances of SCP-XXXX contain the text "IFunniMichael" somewhere within them.

Despite the typically disturbing nature of SCP-XXXX, users who encounter SCP-XXXX seem to be anywhere from mildly to very enthusiastic about the continuation and spread of SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-related material. From this, the Foundation has concluded that there may be a memetic element at play within SCP-XXXX, although this is still under research.

The first instance of SCP-XXXX was uploaded to Twitter on December 9, 2018. It features the "doge" character (SCP-XXXX-1, "Seductor") lip-syncing to the chorus of the song "In My Feelings" by musical artist Drake. SCP-XXXX-1 slowly deteriorates, as the music becomes altered and garbled, with multiple images flashing as SCP-XXXX-1 changes form. SCP-XXXX-A ends.

SCP-XXXX-2 ("Glutt") was also introduced on December 9, 2018, featured in SCP-XXXX-B. This video shows SCP-XXXX-2 through a Hitachi television set, in the form of another alteration of the "doge" character. SCP-XXXX-2 emits a sound similar to a United States National Emergency Alert System Test alarm. The initial tones slowly gain addition notes and become either more harmonic or more discordant. When the final tone plays, SCP-XXXX-2 gains wide, black eyes and gets larger in size on the television. SCP-XXXX-B ends.

SCP-XXXX-C was uploaded on December 11, 2018. It features SCP-XXXX-3 ("DuoMind"), a "doge" with 2 snouts coming from one head. Each of the mouths move independently, but seem to share a single voice, and are possibly connected. SCP-XXXX-3 speaks: "Do you not trust the feeling of the flesh? Our biology yearns to join with yours. We welcome you to our mass. But you puzzle us. Why do you serve our mother?" SCP-XXXX-3 then deteriorates (this form is known as "Hell Knight"), revealing its teeth and nasal passage without overlaying flesh, again gaining wide, black eyes. SCP-XXXX-C ends. SCP-XXXX-C is accompanied by the caption, "Fear of the Flesh."

SCP-XXXX-D was uploaded on December 13, 2018. It begins as an intro to the videos from the YouTube channel "Behind the Meme," introducing the "doge" meme. As soon as "doge" is introduced, it manifests as SCP-XXXX-4. SCP-XXXX-4's eyes roll back in its head, and large, red text shows on the screen, reading "Give Me Your Feet." Images of the deteriorated forms of SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-3 are shown briefly. SCP-XXXX-D ends. SCP-XXXX-D is accompanied by the caption, "Finale Doge Haha Meme."

SCP-XXXX-E was uploaded on December 16, 2018. It varies from the norm in that there is no disturbing element to the video, as well as no seeming memetic element. SCP-XXXX-E begins by showing what appears to be a flying car in a cityscape, and then the text "Cyber Shibe." It then transitions to what is presumably the inside of the car, where SCP-XXXX-5 is present. SCP-XXXX-5 is a humanoid wearing a thick coat, with the head of the "doge" character. After a moment, the car crashes and a stock-sound-effect scream can be heard, along with the visual of an explosion. SCP-XXXX-E ends. SCP-XXXX-E is accompanied by the caption, "You look like a good Doge" and the song "On My Way Out" by musical artists Getter and Joji is played throughout.

SCP-XXXX-F was uploaded on December 18, 2018. It is presented as if it were an RPG-style video game. The "player" moves forward through what appears to be a dungeon, and encounters SCP-XXXX-6 ("Decoy"), in the form of a normal "doge". Three options are presented: "ATTACK!"; "ITEMS."; and "RUN!" The "ATTACK!" option is selected, at which point SCP-XXXX-6 is cut in half, revealing its insides, full of eyeballs. At this point, the screen gets darker and the "RUN!" option fades away. The screen flashes red, and the text "GAME OVER" appears. SCP-XXXX-F ends.

SCP-XXXX-G was uploaded on December 20, 2018. It starts with a picture of what seems to be a bull terrier (SCP-XXXX-7), which gets distorted multiple times, the accompanying music distorting along with the images. After 6 images, the music slows and SCP-XXXX-7 shifts to have 6 eyes, with a wide open mouth. Once more, SCP-XXXX-7 gains wide, black eyes and an exposed nasal cavity. SCP-XXXX-G ends.

SCP-XXXX-H was uploaded on December 23, 2018. It features SCP-XXXX-8 ("Hagness"), which appears to be a female "doge," singing along to "A Moment" by musical artist Jerry Paper. After about 2 measures, SCP-XXXX-8 shows a deteriorated form, before quickly reverting back to its normal form. This happens once more before SCP-XXXX-1 is introduced, performing the same action. SCP-XXXX-3 is shown shortly. The song begins to distort as blurry humanoid figures are shown moving in unnatural ways. Towards the end, a humanoid figure is surrounded by a pack of unidentified animals. SCP-XXXX-H ends.
