Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXX is to be left in a 10”x12”x5”
Box made of two-ply tempered glass. On the box should be a magnetic naturally closed lock with id scanner. The box is to be stored in a standard containment cell with no less than 2 cameras. Only personnel with security clearance level 4 and up are allowed access to SCP-XXX. Anyone caught reading SCP-XXX without approval is to be terminated.
Description:
SCP-XXX is a leather bound book 8 inches wide, 10 inches tall, and 3 inches thick. On the cover of the book is gold leaf pattern. In the center of the cover is a ring surrounding two unidentified symbols and the letters IHS. There is considerable wear on the book. All attempts of carbon-dating have failed. SCP-XXX has 120 pages, all blank.
Properties:
SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties are only apparent once the book is opened to the first page. Once this is done the words,” What knowledge do you seek?” the letters appear in calligraphy style black ink, as does all of the writing. It is to be noted that the book will write in the native language of the person who opened it. The opener then asks their question. As of this time, there have been only 2 questions that SCP-XXX couldn't answer. SCP-XXX is also able to answer questions, that predict the future.
