Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5993 is to be kept in a glass container in D-Block at Research Site-45 at all times. If SCP-5993 removed from the glass container the personnel who removed SCP-5993 is to be terminated immediately. SCP-5993 is not to be moved under any circumstance. SCP-5993 is only monitored through cameras. No ████████ are allowed any less than 10 meters away from SCP-5993.
Description: SCP-5993 is a small yellow badge with a smiley face on it. When a living organism comes into contact with SCP-5993 they will be designated SCP-5993-2.
Process of [DATA EXPUNGED]: After coming in contact with SCP-5993 SCP-5993-2 will be able to spread the [DATA EXPUNGED] from SCP-5993 and will become delusional and have will have hallucinations. After an hour SCP-5993-2 will start feeling stretch and growth pain. After 2 hours SCP-5993-2 will become noticeably skinner and their eyes will slightly sink into there skull. After 3 hours SCP-5993-2 will become much more aggressive and will start thrashing as well as biting. 4 Hours in SCP-5993-2 will be around 7 to █ feet tall and will be extremely skinny. After 5 hours SCP-5993-2 eyes will be replaced with black sockets and will have a much wider smile. Once it has been 6 hours the subject will be extremely aggressive and will try to touch, scratch or kill any living creatures in a 100-meter radius. SCP-5993-2 will be around █ feet tall and will be so skinny there will be visible rips in the skin. SCP-59932 will also have exchanged strength, speed and reflexes.
Addendum 5993.1: Discovery
SCP-5993 was discovered by MTF Nu-7 ("Hammer Down") when they were hunting down SCP-096. Taskforce agent ████ stumbled across it on the ground he proceeded to pick it up and place it in his pocket. After 3 hours and 47 minutes, SCP-097 was contained then half of MTF Nu-7 proceeded to return to [DATA EXPUNGED]. When the task force agent ████ removed his clothing and armour he was immediately detained. Taskforce agent ████ was placed in a 5x5 steel box.

Addendum 5993.3: Post-Incident Report
SCP-5993 was transferred Research Site-45 where it has been located since the incident only █ other incidents have occurred with SCP-5993. One of the incidents involved Dr ████ ███ not following safety procedures and infecting 187 other staff, personnel and scientist. Although the outbreak was terminated the foundation was not happy with the number of deceased. After the █ incident, the foundation installed cameras to watch any activity near SCP-5993. There have been no incidents in 3 months now and they are now considering using SCP-5993 for military applications.
