SCP-XXXX

Item #: SCP-XXXX "Reversal"

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be split via laser cutter on a bi weekly schedule due to its nature of ever-increasing size. Contained at the █████ section at Site-31, SCP-XXXX is restricted to Level-4 personnel and above. These restrictions may only be broken if approved by two or more O5-Council members. No direct contact is allowed by any personnel, unless for testing purposes.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a red clay ball, roughly 0.2 meters in diameter. Each day, at exactly 12:00 AM, SCP-XXXX grows by another 0.2 meters, adding to its total mass. SCP-XXXX is malleable, and in order to prevent any of its further staging anomalous effects from occurring, every week, one D-Class personnel must tear SCP-XXXX down back to approximately its original size. Whenever someone comes into any sort of direct contact with SCP-XXXX while it is under 2 meters in total mass, the subject who came into contact with SCP-XXXX , (designated SCP-XXXX-1), will begin to enter a stage of "decomposition." SCP-XXXX will cause the subject's mind to be altered heavily, to a point where all of the subject's bodily functions begin performing the opposite of their original task. This includes being unable to breathe, due to the lungs only taking in Carbon Dioxide, and exhaling Oxygen, the heart will start to divert the flow of blood back to the heart, causing the heart to become filled with blood until the heart itself ruptures. The stomach will begin to digest itself, causing stomach acid to seep into the rest of the affected subject's body. Blindness will occur, and the subject's cells will begin to act as if the human body itself is a harmful entity to the internal systems, and begin to attack it. Not all of these effects begin instantaneously. Many tests with SCP-XXXX have shown that it may take mere seconds for the effects to occur, to several months without a single symptom. Further testing is needed to properly discover what other functions will become "reversed" and how long these effects will remain undetected, or slowly manifest.
