Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5164 is to be contained in a 4mx4mx2m cell. No Personnel is allowed to enter unless said otherwise by the O5 Council. Any and all Personnel who come into contact with SCP-5164 are to be terminated and incinerated immediately unless it is said otherwise by the O5 Council, in which they are then subject to medical and psychological tests. SCP-5164 is not to be transported without permission from the O5 Council¹

Description: SCP-5164 is a regular plaid colored couch. SCP-5164 seems to have the normal structure of a couch but cannot be taken apart to confirm that theory².

Subjects within 2 meters, or in direct contact with the couch, will begin to feel homicidal, suicidal, aggressive, and manipulative if remained in the area for longer then 5 minutes. After around 10 minutes of exposure, the subject will then sit in the couch and start seizing. After they stop seizing, they seem to be possessed by the couch and the subject loses all control of their body. At this time, the body is referenced as SCP-5164-2 and the "spirit³" referenced as SCP-5164-1

SCP-5164-2 will then possess many abnormal abilities such as increased strength, more durable body, faster running and walking speed, and higher jumping distance. SCP-5164-2 also becomes very manipulative, attempting to breach containment and escape. If the demand isn't met, they sometimes might try to breach containment or just kill SCP-5164-2 and return to the couch. As stated, once SCP-5164-2 is killed or when SCP-5164-1 chooses, SCP-5164-1 will return to the couch and await another victim.

NOTE: SCP-5164-2 breached containment on it's first test at around 13:00 resulting in 11 casualties and 12 injuries. Bulletproof glass has since been installed.

TIME: 12:59 D-9898 becomes possessed by the couch.

TIME: 13:00 SCP-5164-2 goes up to the window and punches the glass, resulting in it shattering.

TIME: 13:01 SCP-5164-2 Grabs two researchers and throws them at the wall, resulting in their death.
TIME: 13:02 SCP-5164-2 gets shot at by the armed guards outside of the Observatory. SCP-5164-2 survives the gunshots and grabs an armed guard and throws him at the other one at high rates of speeds.
TIME: 13:04 SCP-5164-2 grabs the armed guard on the ground and throws him at the camera.
