Special Containment Procedures:SCP-5529 and SCP-5529-1 is to be kept in a secure room in a locked plexiglass box on a pedestal with 24/7 video surveillance. All personnel that uses SCP-5529 , unless otherwise authorized by the current site director or a member of the 05 counsel, are to be given amnestics after the first or second use and to be moved to a new site. Any and all personnel that are caught using SCP-5529 without proper authorization are to be terminated. SCP-5529 is to never mix with any other shampoo to prevent another duplication.
Description: SCP-5529 is a bottle of shampoo of varying brands that change every day at midnight. The brands consist of Axe, Old Spice, Head and Shoulders, Herbal Essence, and Whole Blends. SCP- 5529 is identical to the brand it is imitating in every way except the properties of the liquid inside. SCP-5529-1 is an identical copy of SCP-5529 created in experiment 39(refer to addendum for more details). When SCP-5529 or SCP-5529-1 is applied to hair a variety of results happen ranging from elongated hair, to balding, and even, death. SCP-5529 and SCP-5529-1 is to be applied normally but all traces of the shampoo must be washed out before another use or different shampoo is used. SCP5529 and SCP5529-1 are highly addictive and users must be under surveillance at all times unless amnestics are applied. The amount of uses and brand changes the results. Application to the skin will not trigger anomalous effect.

Addendum 0-1: SCP-5529 was discovered in an apartment in New York on 10/ 11/ 2000 after an MTF was sent to investigate the death of a man whose spine had been twisted out of his body. Nothing was found. The MTF returned the next day and noticed that the shampoo that had originally been Axe was now Whole Blends. The shampoo was taken in for testing.
Addendum 0-2:In experiment #39 the shampoo was mixed with Old Spice. The mixture glowed and moved into the shape of the bottle the solution then hardened into a new bottle identical to the first. From then on the cycle of brands in both bottles included Old Spice.
Tests concluded the newly formed bottle has exact same properties as SCP-5529 so it was marked SCP-5529-1 and procedures must keep either of them from mixing with any more shampoo or each other as the effects could be deadly.
Dr. Crow requested that SCP-5529 and SCP-5529-1 be terminated after one of his sons (a D class) was killed from an experiment. The termination was denied because it has some helpful results and could be used in moderation and Dr.Crow after multiple tests deemed “too emotional” to continue research and was terminated.
