Item#: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
A photograph of SCP-XXXX taken before intial containment.
Special Containment Procedures:SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 12m X 12m X 10m empty cell mounted atop a 2m X 4m X 1m marble pedestal. Four black lights positioned at each corner of the room to monitor SCP-XXXX-1's movements. The walls of SCP-XXXX's cell are lined with 4m high steel plating and an observation deck equipped with double-layered bulletproof glass. The entrance to its cell is double-sealed by a decontamination chamber and under no circumstances can both doors be opened. SCP-XXXX is to be fed 12lbs of fish and a live goat once a week. A single, armed security guard must be present at all times in 4hr shifts. Switching of the guard or testing with SCP-XXXX requires level 3 clearance.
Description:SCP-XXXX is a 7.5m (25ft) long, 1.9m (6ft) tall 'replica' of a Dilophosaurus covered in slate-gray plumage and two red crests. The composition of the object is organic in nature, DNA samples bearing a strong resemblance to members of the Avian family. After a series of X-rays and ultrasounds, it has been concluded that SCP-XXXX possesses a complete skeleton and internal organs. However, most of these organs such as the lungs and heart remain dormant unless the item is damaged or in it's "feeding state."
In spite of this, SCP-XXXX's nervous system functions unimpeded, with scans suggesting brain activity far beyond that of humans.
