Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a soundproof metal cube with a diameter of 10m x 15m x 10m. Before being placed in SCP-XXXX’s cell, security cameras must be stripped of any audio-receiving equipment. Plastic earmuffs are to be worn by personnel within a 2m radius of the cell. To perform tests, permission must be given by two or more Level 4 personnel. Due to recent test results, permission must be given by one or more Level 5 personnel to place any knitting-related materials or tools within 5m of the containment chamber. (See Incident 1)
Description: SCP-XXXX is a ball of shiny white sheep’s wall suspected to be belonging to an English Romney Sheep with a diameter of 2m x 2m x 2m, although it is able to squeeze itself. Buried inside the ball is an abnormally large sheep’s skull that appears to move in correlation with the ball and several large human-like arms that can manifest within and sprout out of SCP-XXXX, suggesting it is a single entity. When a creature SCP-XXXX can consider prey enters its vicinity (Prey will be referred to as SCP-XXXX-1), SCP-XXXX will screech loudly, causing a ringing in SCP-XXXX-1’s ears and causing temporary spasms normally lasting 2 to 6 seconds, SCP-XXXX will use this opportunity to extend its arms and chase SCP-XXXX-1, using the arms like a spider’s legs. Unless SCP-XXXX is presented a “tastier” meal by SCP-XXXX-1, normally meaning a larger creature, and being set free, SCP-XXXX will chew up and consume SCP-XXXX-1, keeping the subject’s body inside of it for a few days until it falls out of SCP-XXXX, dissolved. It is currently unknown how prey is dissolved. Occasionally, SCP-XXXX will wrap prey in a woolen silk to preserve it until it is ready for consumption. SCP-XXXX was moved to Site-24 in 1997 after being found in the attic of ██████ ██████ not long after they were consumed. Knitting supplies and woolen sweaters were found nearby to SCP-XXXX’s location.
Incident 1: SCP-XXXX
Knitting supplies were placed in the near vicinity of SCP-XXXX. The supplies in question bonded together and bore through SCP-XXXX’s containment cell, causing a breach. Since this incident, containment procedures have been revised.
