Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within Site-76. —SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a secured storage locker at all times when not undergoing testing. SCP-XXXX is open for testing for anyone with clearance of Level 1 or greater.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 18x13.5x12 centimeters victorian-style jewelry box. The object is composed of an unknown species of oak, and utilities and all other decoration on the box is made of metal.. Blemishes can be found across SCP-XXXX, along with the metals rusting in various areas, these damages are presumed to be by accident due to being a heirloom of the ████████'s family. SCP-XXXX can be opened once every twenty-four hours by moving the hook on the face of the object. After it is closed, whether done by its user or not, once out of line of sight, the hook will go back down to lock the object. Once it has been locked, any personnel attempting to open it will be discouraged by an unknown ominous force. All attempts to ignore the force have been unsuccessful.
Whenever personnel walk within a certain premises, which depends on the most recent time it is used, a sudden overcoming urge to unlock and open the object will be brought upon them. The range it which the force will occur appears to have no limit. The farthest known range is approximately 950 square meters.
After opening SCP-XXXX, any possible object of sentimental value to the personnel that can fit within the object may be found. Only one (1) object may be found within SCP-XXXX after opening it. Object of sentimental value will not be organic. The object does not need to have current value to the personnel, as many objects have been identified to have value in the subjects past, but not currently anymore. Before being transported by unknown means into SCP-XXXX, the object may be anywhere on earth. The object of value is not a replicate of the original, as all objects have been found to go missing in their previous location.
Once the personnel has obtained their object, the ominous force will deter from them, until they come within proximity of SCP-XXXX again after a twenty-four hour span.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX was discovered by Agent W███████ who was informed of a store by the name of "Al the Crazed" who could obtain and return anyone's lost sentimental belongings. The store itself, and the owner, Albert ████████, had no enigmas properties, excluding SCP-XXXX. Mr. ████████ was given amnestics following the retrieval of SCP-XXXX.
