Special Containment Procedures: SCP-???? is to be given the same level of care as an average potted plant, with watering occurring at least 5 times a week. Every 28 weeks the fruit produced by SCP-???? should be harvested with 75% of samples of SCP-????-1 being disposed of for use in compost. Soil should be fertilized as needed.

Description: SCP-???? specimen resembles a tree, measuring an average of 40 cm in height with a spiral pattern along the middle section. Every 28 weeks SCP-???? Will produce several samples of SCP-????-1 from each of its branches. SCP-????-1 is dark red in color similar to that of dragon fruit. Current foundation knowledge of SCP-????’s origin is little, with three samples of the plant being found in ██████, Japan. Owner of the orchard in which SCP-???? was found is currently in questioning.

Upon ingestion of SCP-????-1, subjects will undergo a transformation resulting in enhancement of one aspect of the body of the subject, while weakening or sacrificing another. While the exchange is mostly random, SCP-????-1 seems to favor enhancing things that are physically weak, choosing to restore the eyesight of a subject that was blind at the cost of his left leg.

Addendum: Test Log 9/3/██: Dr. Robert

Upon entering the testing chamber, D-13462 was prompted to consume one sample of SCP-????-1. Three minutes after consumption, the subject complained that his vision had become blurry and of mild pain in his legs. The subject was then observed to grow in height approximately 25 cm. Subjects vision has yet to come back twelve hours after initial consumption.

D-16249 entered the testing chamber and consumed one sample of SCP-????-1. The subject stated that the fruit tasted bittersweet with a bad aftertaste. Four minutes after consumption, the subject reported being able to breathe easier. The subject then complained that they could not feel their left hand, after which, subjects hand started to flake off in chunks that resembled rock. Analysis of the rock like substance is continuing.

Note: “Six hours after initial consumption, subject reports no pain in the wrist where the hand is gone. The subject also reports having asthma since he was 3 years old which seems to now be cured. Further testing required on this phenomena.” — Dr. Carl
