SCP-XXXX at time of recovery.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard Safe class storage locker at Site-22. Use of SCP-XXXX for research purposes is restricted to personnel of Level-2 security clearance or higher.

After testing is completed, personnel with plastic gloves must put SCP-XXXX back in its locker.

Description:

SCP-XXXX is a piece of art which looks like 5 string instruments layered on top of eachother. Each instrument is covered in a different color of paint. In order from left to right: A green violin (SCP-XXXX-1), a black classic guitar (SCP-XXXX-2), a blue classic guitar (SCP-XXXX-3), a yellow electronic guitar (SCP-XXXX-4)and a red cello (SCP-XXXX-5). SCP-XXXX’s origin is unidentified.

If an individual touches one of the instruments on SCP-XXXX with their bare skin while thinking of another individual, a certain anomalous effect takes place, depending on which one of the stringed instruments is touched. The anomalous effects for each one is followed here below:

SCP-XXXX-1: The person in mind will act friendly towards the person coming in contact with SCP-XXXX-1, no matter their relationship.

SCP-XXXX-2: The individual in mind will pass away due to unknown reasons.

SCP-XXXX-3: The individual in mind will teleport to the individual who came in contact with SCP-XXXX-3. They will teleport the place closest to them, but they don’t appear within a line of sight, wether it’s a digital or physical line of sight.

SCP-XXXX-4: The person in mind will grow hate towards the person coming in contact with SCP-XXXX-4, no matter their relationship.

SCP-XXXX-5: The person in mind will fall in love with the person coming in contact with SCP-XXXX-5, no matter their relationship.

Upon recovery in 199█, chances of SCP-XXXX’s anomalous effect activating (upon touch) was something around ██% of the time. Since then, chances have been reduced to about ██%. Percentage is reducing by approximately 1-2% each year.

Addendum XXXX-1: Dr. ████ examined SCP-XXXX under a microscope which revealed several microorganisms of unknown species located on the instruments of SCP-XXXX. These could have something to do with SCP-XXXX’s anomalous effects and the rate of decreasing percentages.

Addendum XXXX-2: Dr. ████ placed one of the organisms on top of SCP-XXXX-1 inside of a glass tube and placed a cork on it so the microorganism couldn’t escape the tube. D-34362 and D-87434 were escorted into a testing chamber containing the glass tube. D-34362 was told to open the tube and place its hand on top of it, then flip it. D-34362 was told to think about D-87434. D-87434 was asked how he felt about D-34362 and replied with: “He’s cool. I like him.” even though they didn’t know each other or had any past interactions beforehand.

SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2, etc… will now be referred to as the microorganisms.
