Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5974 is to be contained in a standard Safe-class holding locker when not in use. Any personnel that wishes to use SCP-5974 for testing purposes must submit a request to the site director.
Description: SCP-5974 appears to be an unpeeled Cavendish banana. Biological analysis reveals that SCP-5974 does not differ from an ordinary Cavendish banana. SCP-5974 displays multiple anomalous properties which include the inability to damage it, and its inability to age. Any damage inflicted upon SCP-5974 is reflected, and multiplied depending on the size, back on to the damager. Attempts to peel the banana back result in the subject's skin being peeled off their body. The starting location of the skin peeling varies based on where the banana was attempted to be peeled from. All subjects have made a full recovery. SCP-5974 was discovered on ██/██/20 at a farm. The farmer's wife called the local police and reported that her husband had been torn to shreds while mowing their backyard. MTF Iota-10 ("Damn Feds") was dispatched to the area where they found the remains of the farmer and a shredded lawnmower. Under the remains of the lawnmower was a banana, later classified as SCP-5974. It seems that the farmer intentionally ran over the banana. (See Test B) Along with the banana, a sticky-note attached to the banana was found. The writing on it transcribes as follows: "These dudes are insane man! The fuck were they thinking?? Using a damn banana as our sacrifice, those fucking morons. I literally have a GOD BANANA! I'm throwing this shit the second I can and hoping that he doesn't smite me." The sticky-note shows no anomalous properties.
