Digital depiction of SCP-5215 based on information provided by SCP-5215-1 instances.
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5215 is to be held in a room separated at least 20 meters from any electrical grids at Site-15. The walls are to be insulated with 50mm of Styrofoam and there must be at least 2 electrical appliances of any kind present in the room. These appliances are required to have an electrical current passing through them at all times via the room's own power source. Under no circumstances should any electrical appliances be brought out of the room at any time. A viewing window may be installed for the purpose of test observation.
Description: SCP-5215 is a humanoid entity standing at a height of an estimated 2.5-3 meters (8-10 ft). The surface of its body gives off a slight luminescent lime hue. An exception to this are a pair of circular cavities in the front of the head which give off a bright white glow, these are presumably its eyes. Aside from this, it has no other facial features present. The main body of SCP-5215 appears rather lanky a slim, with arms and legs unusually long. Instead of hands an feet, SCP-5215's limbs end in a narrow, pointed tip. The outer layer of SCP-5215's body is described as being a myriad of "flowing" and "pulsating" strands, showing that its surface isn't comprised of a skin or membrane-like structure.
SCP-5215 appears to be restricted to a maximum range of roughly 2 meters away from an active electricity source and seems to be unable to move any further than that distance. SCP-5215 has been thought to have the ability to enter an energy-like form that it utilises mainly for traversing long distances by following electrical grids in towns and cities. When confined to a single, isolated electricity source, it us unknown what would happen if it were to cease functioning. However it is assumed that this would likely result in the termination of SCP-5215.
When dormant, SCP-5215 will reside within any one set of traffic lights at a time which are linked to a pedestrian crosswalk. Whilst in this state, it is assumed that SCP-5215 is either unable to move from its location or chooses not to. However, when the "wait" button on the side of the traffic lights have been pressed and any individual(s) decides to cross before the lights indicate it is safe to do so, SCP-5215 will leave its location and begin following said individual. This person should then be referred to as SCP-5215-1.

For an unknown reason, only SCP-5215-1 instances are aware of SCP-5215's presence and it cannot be seen by anyone who isn't an SCP-5215-1 instance. This includes photographs and video recordings - if SCP-5215 is present in any photographs or recorded footage, only instances of SCP-5215-1 will be aware of its presence in the image. This information has been useful for getting accurate depictions of SCP-5215 by having instances of SCP-5215-1 sketch the entity based on a photograph capturing it.
If multiple individuals disregard the "wait" signal simultaneously, SCP-5215 will begin to follow all said people involved, resulting in multiple instances of SCP-5215-1. Due to SCP-5215 still being able to hunt multiple instances of SCP-5215-1 simultaneously, it is thought that SCP-5215 can either travel at incredible speeds to achieve this or it can duplicate itself. It is not yet known which of these possibilities are true. SCP-5215 seems to always have knowledge of SCP-5215-1's whereabouts as it is able to easily navigate to their location.
Roughly 10-48 hours after initially disregarding the "wait" symbol on the pedestrian crosswalk where SCP-5215 was situated, SCP-5215-1 instances have reported experiencing unprovoked headaches and minor fatigue. Within the next few days, affected individuals will begin to see SCP-5215 briefly manifest in distant locations that are within their line of sight.
After around 48 hours, SCP-5215-1 instances will often experience unsettling auditory and visual hallucinations when SCP-5215 is tormenting them. A few documented examples of these hallucinations have consisted of hearing whispering or knocking sounds, nearby people staring at SCP-5215-1, deceased family members or close friends appearing for a brief period and even [DATA EXPUNGED], although cases of this occurring are extremely rare. Within the next few days, affected individuals will begin to see SCP-5215 briefly manifest in distant locations that are within their line of sight.
SCP-5215's torment will slowly increase in both frequency and severity over time. This will often occur when the individual is alone, however it can occasionally occur when SCP-5215-1 instances are with other people. Repeated close range encounters with SCP-5215 often results in severe headaches, nausea, heart palpitations, vomiting, seizures and eventually death from heart-related issues after about 15-20 days. If SCP-5215 is unable to reach SCP-5215-1 for whatever reason, it will cease tormenting them roughly 3-5 days.
After SCP-5215 has either killed all instances of SCP-5215-1 or has been unable to reach them for a prolonged period of time, it will manifest on another set of traffic lights with a pedestrian crossing at random within a 20km radius and become dormant once again. If SCP-5215 is unable to reach a pedestrian crossing within this radius it will stay dormant and unable to cause any sort of harm until it finds a traversable route leading to one.
Addendum 5215-A: SCP-5215's containment at Site-15 was accomplished by confirming an instance of SCP-5215-1. SCP-5215-1 was then brought to SCP-5215's containment cell and ordered to stay inside the room and alert the Foundation personnel observing them whenever they were able to confirm SCP-5215's presence. After doing so, the path in the electric grid leading from the main site to SCP-5215's containment cell was closed, trapping SCP-5215.
Addendum 5215-B: A short road with a functional pedestrian crossing was constructed at surface level at Site-15 with an underground power line leading from SCP-5215's containment cell to the crossing for research purposes.
