Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomalous phenomenon that affects popular dating app █████. With no detectable pattern, a person that does not currently exist will appear on the app, hereby designated SCP-XXXX-A. If the user, hereby designated SCP-XXXX-B, swipes yes (an indication of interest in XXXX-A) there is a ██% chance that XXXX-A will manifest and enter XXXX-B's life in some way, from entering their field and vision and never encountering one another again to becoming a significant part of XXXX-B's life. There is currently no theory as to how the encounter will progress and is currently theorized to be based on the objects interest in each other.

The longer SCP-XXXX is active and the more XXXX-A entities that are swiped on, the more disfigured the XXXX-A entity becomes, starting from small disfigurements (I.E patches of skin discolouration) increasing exponentially with no observed upper limit. XXXX-A entities have no knowledge of existence before the time they appear and trying to get SXXXX-A to recall memories from the time before they appear causes severe mental distress in ██% of those interviewed.
