Item #: SCP-XXXX
Photo of the anomaly taken when found by exploration team, T-██.
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: The anomaly should be stored in a 50cm x 50cm x 50cm alluminium vault compartment, with a 20cm x 20cm bullet proof glass placed on the top surface of the vault. The mentioned compartment should then be placed in approximately a 5m x 5m x 10m room lined with alluminium 10cm thick walls. The mentioned room should be steadily at the temperature of 5°C (41°F) with a low level of humidity and a solid 0.15 dps (radioactivity level). The anomaly may only be accessed by the assigned Researchers with at the least Level 3 clearance. After testing, Class D personnel are required to be terminated to avoid spreading any cought diseases.
Any research and testing logs, and other documents made during the testing and/or research of this anomaly, are to be stored in a highly protected foundation servers, and are to be accessed only by Level-5 + clearence personel.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a Amanita Muscaria mushroom, found in the well known city of Chernobyl, Ukraine. The exact coordinates are as follows: 51.2███° N, ██ ██° N. The anomalies appearence is as shown above, with black coloured spots as well as white. It is researched ro be a mushroom that has grown up in an environment with low levels of radioactivity. The anomaly is about the size of an adult male human hand. It is soft, however it's mass reaches up to 200 Kilograms, and the anomaly reaches this mass when fed. It's diet is strange and consists of any smaller mammal, such as mice or rabbits, which is required to be killed beforehand. Before feeding, the anomaly has a mass of 180 - 190 Kilograms, and the mass only increases when fed. The anomaly doesn't change shape or size during feeding or at any other time. When changing diet, the anomaly is known to loose instead of gain mass.
Before the anomaly was collected, it was observed for exactly two weeks by the exploration team. It was reported that when humans were around the anomaly, it caused negative effects such as nausea and headaches, however, the anomaly was collected for the purpose of determining whether it was the reason behind the negative effects.
On the ██/██/████, the testing log of the first test (Addendum1A) containing a full description of effects and human behaviour after and during contact with the anomaly was sent to the O5 Council, explaining the worsening and dangerous side effects, and requesting an immediete security change as to who may access the anomaly.
A sample of vomit produced by a subject after contact with the anomaly has been sent to Bio Sector - ██ of Area - ██ to be research. The researcher's report can be found in Addendun 34-B12.
