Special Containment Procedures :SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a matte black case in a storage locker at Site-16’s Medical Center. Testing must be performed by all personnel, and is only allowed for perpetual use by personnel with level 3 clearance and above. Use by personnel who do not have Level 3 clearance and above is strictly prohibited. To prevent the occurence of misidentification by general staff, a label is to be put on top of the case, labeling it as the case for SCP-XXXX.
Description : SCP-XXXX is a pair of purple-colored hearing aids with translucent ear plugs. The bases of SCP-XXXX are 0.5 in. in diameter, while the length of the plugs are 1 in. 5 cm.
SCP-XXXX gives a person supernatural hearing, whether the person has normal hearing, has partial deafness, or even complete deafness. It is even stated that SCP-4926 has cured subjects of their deafness. It was found out that SCP-XXXX does so by completely healing the eardrums and other damaged parts of the ear that causes deafness. It also cleans out the subjects ears of debris causing lack of hearing, such as dirt, earwax, etc.
Location : SCP-XXXX was found in the possession of C⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️ O’⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️ on 7/18/20⬛️⬛️, who was spending the rest of his life at age 6⬛️ while residing at ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️ Nursing Home in ⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️⬛️, Kentucky. The Foundation was quickly alerted of SCP-XXXX’s existence when the individual stated that SCP-XXXX somehow had ridded him of his near-complete deafness, and was giving other residents of the nursing home a test of SCP-XXXX to prove its effects. Once the Foundation confiscated SCP-XXXX, every resident who used SCP-XXXX, as well as the nursing home staff, was given Class-C amnestics, as well as giving the previously deaf residents false memories of them having perfect hearing without cause.
Addendum-XXXX : The following subjects tested with SCP-XXXX range from age 60-85, were given hearing tests after procedure, amnestics administered and false memories implanted afterward.
Subject-XXXX-01: 65-year old Male suffering from partial deafness in left ear.
Brief Background: Gained partial deafness after exposure to loud noises.
Notes: Subject claims that he can hear better out of his ear, and states it was absolutely bizarre.Subject-XXXX-02: 75- year old female with complete deafness.
Brief Background: Gained deafness after severe car accident caused glass to fracture ear drums.
Notes: Subject states that she was completely shocked, saying that this special gift must be from god. X-rays showed that SCP-XXXX had completely healed subject’s eardrums.Subject-XXXX-03: 70-year old male with no deafness
Brief Background: Subject suffers from lack of hearing due to severe earwax buildup.
Notes: Subject shown to have no earwax buildup in ears, and is completely in awe of where it all went.Subject-XXXX-04: 60-year old male
Brief Background: Subject has no debris in ears, nor has deafness.
Notes: Subject claims that he could hear even more than what he could hear before, but then appears to be disappointed when he takes them off, stating that his hearing is back to normal.
