Special Containment Procedures: SCP-X-J is kept in a standard issue containment unit designed for inanimate objects on site Site-40. SCP-X-J must not, under any circumstance aside from testing, be inserted into a VHS player that is connected to a TV or a similar device.
Description: SCP-X-J is a VHS tape titled "The manliest video in the world". SCP-X-J contains a ██ hour long video featuring 200 seemingly unrelated clips each shown one after the other. The shortest of these clips lasts 15 seconds, while the longest clip lasts 1 hour and 32 minutes.
For the purposes of this document, the VHS tape itself will be referred to as SCP-X-J, and the video it contains will be referred to as SCP-X-1-J.
If a human male looks at SCP-X-1-J one of 2 things will happen:
1. If the subject is of heterosexual sexuality, he will become a homosexual after 25 minutes of exposure. The cause of this is unknown, however, subjects exposed to SCP-X-1-J have made statements similar to the following: "the manliness is too much. I must become gay."
2. If the subject was a homosexual prior to being exposed to SCP-X-1-J an unknown event will take place. Heterosexual subjects exposed to SCP-X-1-J have stated that if a homosexual were to be exposed to SCP-X-1-J, the universe would come to an end.
It is unknown if this is true, but the 05 command has decided that no homosexual is to ever be exposed to SCP-X-1-J.
If a human female is exposed to SCP-X-1-J, nothing happens.
