Special Containment Procedures:Provisional Site-98 is built around the entrance of SCP-4982 with the entrance enclosed in a 10m x 10m x 10m steel containment box. Accompanied at the front of the containment box is a airtight steel door that is 5m x 5m capable of passing through vehicles and heavy machinery and it can only be accessed through remote access. SCP-4982 is to be kept under heavy surveillance all the time for any abnormal changes. Motion detectors are also placed inside the containment box, just incase anything emerges from the rift.

Anything extracted from SCP-4982 are to be stored in Sector 4982-A for further analysis and research. Species on the other hand is to stored in Sector 4982-B for safety precautions and their potential hostile nature. If any unidentified entities emerge from SCP-4982, they should be terminated immediately.

Description:SCP-4982 is a rift anomaly standing at a 6m height and a 4m width. SCP-4982's exceeds extraordinary properties as a pocket dimension with a plethora of other rifts are seen within. Upon entering SCP-4982, there is a large pathway made of fine stone brick with multiple pathways branching out to every rift. Looking out there seems to be never ending pathways with different walkways accompanied with rifts to other worlds, exploring everyone of them would take years at the very least.

The origins of SCP-4982 manifestation is unknown. All that is known is it was located ███km Northeast of █████████ near ████ █████, Alaska on September 23, ████. SCP-4982 was reported in by local residents in the area after witnessing a large rift manifesting nearby. MTF Tau-5 were sent in and evacuated all citizens in the area until containment was complete.

After minimal exploration into SCP-4982, and proceeded to research nearby rifts, what was discovered was unimaginable, they were rifts to other planets, other parts of the universe, other dimensions, and alternate timelines in history. As one Agent put it, SCP-4982 is "The gateway to the Multiverse."

Briefing Note:MTF Tau-5 are the first to enter SCP-4982. Their mission is to enter 4982 and analyze their surroundings and investigate nearby rifts.

The team begin to walk to the airtight steel door as they make their way to SCP-4982.

T-5 'Alfa 1-1':This is Alfa 1-1, requesting access into SCP-4982.

Prov. Site-98 Command:Go ahead T-5.

A loud beep is heard as the door begins to slowely open, as SCP-4982 emerges behind, the team enters as the door begins to shut behind them.

T-5 'Alfa 1-1':This is Alfa 1-1 to Site Command, do we have a soild copy?

Prov. Site-98 Command:Solid copy Alfa 1-1, you may enter SCP-4982 at your will.

T-5 'Alfa 1-1':Alright, everyone give me a gear and recorder check.

T-5 'Outkast 1-4':10-4, all ready.

T-5 'Sunup 1-2':10-4, check.

T-5 'Sundown 1-3':10-4, ready to go.

Alfa 1-1 nods, motioning his hand forward. The team then slowly enter SCP-4982, weapons drawn. There is a small drop once entering as each member hops in. The endless room around them is dark and black with your stone brick pathways leading to each individual rift. A low pitched hum can be heard all around along with the light feeling but dark and sinister atmosphere. The team would now begin advancing to the main pathway.

T-5 'Alfa 1-1:This is Alfa 1-1 to Site Command, we have entered SCP-4982 safely, it is what you've seen from the outside. We will begin moving and checking out some of these rift portals and give you an update.

Prov. Site-98 Command:Copy that Alfa 1-1, stay safe.

T-5 'Alfa 1-1':Alright team, pick a rift, investigate and analyze it and report back to me.

The rest nod moving to 4 nearby portals.

T-5 'Sundown 1-3:Hmm… this seems to lead to another planet… wait, I see fucking Jupiter, i..is this Europa…its got a white icy surface so I'm guessing so.

T-5 'Outkast 1-4':Hey I see Jupiter in this one too but this place looks more orange and dark.

Sundown's camera turns over to Outkast's area.

T-5 'Sundown 1-3':Yeah, that must be Titan, judging by that.

T-5 'Outkast 1-4':What made you so space knowledgeable?

T-5 'Sundown 1-3':I wanted to be a astronomer before I joined the MTF.

T-5 'Outkast 1-4':Thank god you joined the MTF.

T-5 'Sundown 1-3':What makes you say that? An Astronomer is a great position.

T-5 'Outkast 1-4':I mean I would rather be an ass kicking MTF protecting society from these dangerous fucks for the SCP Foundation and not some space nerd… hahaha…

T-5 'Sundown 1-3':Haha very funny, shut the fuck up.

T-5 'Alfa 1-1':Guys focus, we can banter later. I don't think we wanna be in this creep dungeon any longer than we have to be. Sunup, did you find anything since you trailed so far?

*Sunup would be alot farther away from the team, looking into his rift. The camera gets closer to what seems to be a view of Earth, but what is seen isn't Earth.*

T-5 'Sunup 1-2':Uhhh… guys, come here…

The team would then begin to move to Sunup's position, all that is seen on the other side of the portal is a giant city, resembling New York City, but what seems to be in the far future. Flying vehicles and towering skyscrapers, it's a dark environment with pipes with flames and smoke emerging from them. Their awe is cut by a flying vehicle that flies by right next to the rift.

T-5 'Outkast 1-4':Where the fuck are we?

T-5 'Sunup 1-2':I don't know but let's get out of here.

T-5 'Alfa 1-1':Site Command this is Alfa 1-1 we're now exiting SCP-4982. We might just have a damn platinum mine on our hands…

Prov. Site-98 Command:Hm, that's great to hear, report back to the entrance rift, we will have the door open for you when you exit.

The team then backs away from the rift, making their way to the entrance rift. As they exit Alfa 1-1 can be heard.

T-5 'Alfa 1-1':Alright, audio off… holy fuck…

Brief Note:After initial exploration into SCP-4982, we decided to begin exploring the rifts within and started with the Europa rift. We sent in 4 Agents to protect and keep security for the personnel, 3 Researchers including myself to handle the construction of Research Facility 4982. Dr. Hartmann is in command of the Drone and Rover Crew, surveying the nearby area and gathering intel. Dr. Cox is in charge of the Construction and Mobile Drill Rig Crew, building Research Facility 4982 and begin drilling into Europa's ice. We also have 4 Class-D with us to help in our expedition.
